    That's what I'm asking. Why them, or who are they?

    Only info easily available is the site is registered to Contactprivacy.com (who won't give the owners name). The other site is registered to David Carter, address unknown, who "works" out of a serviced office.

    So if you ever needed to contact this company, how would you go about it?

  • I earlier this year successfully got my ESTA authorization, I have however recently got a simple caution for being in possession of a small amount of controlled substances.

    Will this effect my ESTA? I am travelling to the US on business at the end of the month. Will this show up when I get to immigration?

    Should I contact the US Embassy for advice?

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    i think you may be ok as it was a caution not an arrest or conviction, look into it but im sure cautions arent recorded as substanical(sp?),

    I thought that in order to receive a caution you had to be arrested first?

    He is definately NOT ok.

    This caution would have happened after an arrest.
    Have you ever been arrested or convicted for

    an offense or crime involving moral turpitude OR a violation related to a controlled substance;

    or have been arrested or convicted for two or more offenses for which the aggregate sentence to confinement was five years or more;

    or have been a controlled substance trafficker;

    or are you seeking entry to engage in criminal or immoral activities?
    Cautions also rely on the fact you ADMIT the offense, they cannot be given if you deny it. So you have admitted violating the law.

    He was also cautioned for half a gram of cocaine, getting a waiver for that will be hard.

  • We tried to apply for the esta while still free it took a while, 3 applications each with a individual reference number and was not registered when we tried to go back into the site so will now have to pay, something wrong with the way the site was set up that allowed this to happen, I was hopping to save the exspence.:(

    Are you sure you submitted the applications? You get the reference number before you are finished with the process from what I can recall (which probably makes it a bit confusing as usually you wouldn't get a reference number until you were done) - you have to then sumbit the application.

    Go back to the ESTA site with your reference number...choose the option on the right to update or check status...put in the info required and it will give you the info you need. They don't send emails or notices of any kind.
