Please do not use these 3rd party sites, not only are you giving them £20 for nothing, you also give them ALL your personal and card details. You will be scammed within hours

erm, yeah, this is what we're discussing, but travel agents etc are giving out the 3rd party sites, or people are clicking the sponsored link in google...
  • My friend got his visa in the end...thanks everyone for your help. :D

Green forms, given on the plane?

If my friend have a tourist visa does he still have to fill one in?

I have just filled in ESTA online, so I have to fill one in?

Any one know link/s of websites that have sample/actual green card questions?

    Thank you

the questions on the I95W (which is the visa waiver, so your friend with a visa won't need the W, he'll need the other form that is handed out, i think that's just an I95, but don't hold me to that) are the same as the ones on the esta application. same questions, just make sure you fill in both sides correctly..

    My friend fills in I95.

How many different forms are they going to hand out on the plane (lol)?
  • hi all hope this is an easy question but its puzzeling me!
You have to update your esta when going to different places, well I now know this is optional though didnt when I filled in my husbands orginally. so his says vegas I need to change it now to new york, you can ammend esta though only the telephone and contact details not the state or hotel you are staying, any suggestions anyone please?

I did this for my husband recently (I thought you had to do it each time you went to the US) - you go to the ESTA site, fill in the info on the right side, click the Update or Check Status button and you can fill in all the new trip info.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yes you fill in I95W - same questions as ESTA. This form will be phased out when ESTA is fully operational

Your friend fills in I95 - looks virtually identical to I95W except it's white and most of the questions are missing

You'll both fill in a customs form - if you were related it's one per family
  • wow, just read this whole thread, which has answered several questions - thank you - i am planning o going to new york in november, do you think we will prob still have to fill in the green forms as well? Are they still doing them? Am not bothered either way, just want to be prepared.
Also my OH is applying for a new passport so were best waiting for that before we do the ESTA aren't we?

Yes, wait for the new passport number before applying for the ESTA which I would suggest printing off once it's completed. You don't *need* to print it off, but I like to update my flight and accommodation details which again don't need to be done.

Yes you will have to fill out the green visa waiver on the plane. It's the same questions as the ESTA and now also asks for a mobile number and email address.
