I agree with the above (conditioner and fine comb - everyone's posting really quickly!) and have used successfully. Also a skinhead cut is useful! August is the worst month for them anyway they seem to do really well in the warmer weather. I saw some nit combs in Wilkinsons the other day, though they are black which makes it difficult to see the b************s. (Just in case you have any embarrassment in asking for a nit comb in the chemist - sometimes they have them in cabinets away from the main shop!) Still you might get more space if you ask for one in a loud voice! By the way they don't like dirty hair, they prefer clean. Look out for friend/family that you might have caught them off too as they need to be done as well or you'll have a continual problem - anyone whose hair has come into contact with yours as they walk not jump.Torgwen..........

Ditto alll the above you just need to comb and condition. Tell people you may have GIVEN them to ( close family members?) Oh and if you are gonna be in a potentially 'risky ' situation in the future ie kids birthday party a light zap of hairspray is something they dont like.

They don't like teetree oil either a few drops on your hand and rubbed into your hair. You can get teetree shampoo and conditioner.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

you can get a bug busting kit from your gp if you are on a low income and depending on where you live.
lice look like little midgees, and the hair can have dandruff like eggs in it. you need to rid yourself with all of these. chemicals are a bit of a con, a cheap conditioner will do the trick jjust as effectively
lice combs are about 40pence from the chemist.
make sure you do the whole family too as the problem will never go away. and depending on the nit they often dont like tea tree oil or vinegar so if u use the latter as a rinse,
and dont forget to wash your hats, pillow cases etc. when treatment beginsGive blood - its free0 -
Well, I went to the chemist, and as soon as I got there everyone decided to come in! I'm sure they all took a step backwards when I said what I wanted.
I've now got 2 combs as they came in a pack for 90p.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Maybe it's worth a mention that you should treat everybody in your house - they are likely to have travelled around.
Why at the mention of headlice have I started scratching my head?0 -
They don't like Lavender essential oil either.0
