Ah well hope your chest is feeling better soon.
i am the same about sick leave. I once went in with virtually no voice, and had to mime to the children...I could do a mean squawk as well. The only time i wasn't let in was when i was on crutches, their insurance wouldn't cover me if i had any accidents.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I am now picturing a parrot with a curly mullet, squawking at the kids! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Lol BOB!!! :rotfl:
Helloooo lovely Pania  I was just about to come over and catch up with your diary - it's such a nuisance when work gets in the way of MSE and I get behind on all the gossip! Hope you're okay - any news on the job front yet?
Don't worry, the good stuff about being a Mum outweighs the bad stuff by quite a big margin, so it's all worth it - plus when you deliver the afterbirth (yeah, they don't tell you that you have to push something else out after the baby either ....and don't get me started on afterpains!!), it takes 50% of your brain cells with it, so you don't really care that your boobs are either too swollen or too saggy, and your stomach resembles a road map of the British Isles."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Sorry Maz - I forgot about the official motherhood secrets act forbidding us to let on about the mooing, the pooing, the tearing (or cutting), the stitches, the lochia, the not-being-able-to-walk-or-sit-down-for-a-week, the 'first wee' (in fact the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th wees!), the boob pain, the mushy-brainedness...........remind me again what the good bits are??
Just had a catch up on your diary P and it all sounds like positive news - I'm really pleased for you. :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
