What lovely piccies, snaggs. They seem to have had a fab time. I used to love the enjoyment of birthday parties at that age...so much fun.xxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Great pics Mrs S. I played singstar it the other week, good mate of mine had bought it for the wife and he had bought himself mariokart and steering wheels for the wii so they had treated eachother effectively. ANyway about 20 mins before she came in from work, he set it up for her so we tested it (this was at midnight), of course we had been drinking and when she came in with a pal from work, she was not happy they we had used it before her and that we should be on the mariokart afterall it was her present. Anyway after a few sherberts we decided to have a competion and we was still there singing at 5am lolThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Evening!
Sorry I haven't updated for a while, as I might have mentioned I have been soooooo ill (okay, it was just a stomach bug....but never let it be said that I couldn't exaggerate a bit!). I lost 3lbs though, so that has softened the blow slightly.
I've just found out I have had a dividend payment from the shares I sold recently, and £102 has been paid into my account today, so I have used that to clear my credit card, which I naughtily used for party stuff and presents.
The bill for the shopping card isn't in yet, but Stu has promised me faithfully that we should be within budget...or thereabouts (that last word has me a little worried, but I've got to trust him a LITTLE bit!).
Our car tax and MOT are both due at the end of this month though, so it could all go horribly wrong. We have saved up enough for the car tax, but the MOT is just going to be a 'fingers crossed' type affair.
The kids are both over their illnesses too - Natasha is teething though and has been crying on and off most of the day (Stu is getting her ready for bed while I have a little break). Ryan is just being an absolute superstar and was so brave even while he was throwing up all day on Monday.
Oh, and two weeks to go until the pot can come off!! :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Sorry you & Ryan have been unwell hun hope you both are feeling fully better now. I hate to 'rain on your parade' but are you sure that you are entitled to that dividend if you sold the shares ? There are generally several weeks between the date that the holding was declared "ex-dividend" and the date on which the cash is actually paid.
If it was sold after the "ex div" date, then you will be entitled to the dividend.

Thanks guys - the ex dividend date was just before I sold them
so I'm definitely entitled to it. :j I remember thinking at the time that there would be a dividend to come, but had forgotten about it until now. It was loads more than the last one too (think I got £36 or something last time!).
I think we are all fully recovered now, although Natasha is teething like crazy and still wont eat properly. I have resorted to making lumpy purees for her, because she was starting to look a bit skinny and I wanted to make sure she was having SOMETHING at least. She's eating those no problem, and has had a couple of bits of finger food today too (some crackers with cheese and a couple of chunks of apple), so she wont forget how to chew!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Crackers, cheese and apple - yum can I have some too
