Snaggles I had this when I went back to work after Preston and they told me that it was because it was based on the previous year when I was on maternity leave and earned very little....even when I told them what I was earning they still paid me loads and told me that it was mine to keep and they wouldn't try recover it at a later date!! I have however saved most of the extra just in case they changed there mind!! so I have there money earning me quite a nice bit of interest which is nice!!

Lol IA - don't worry hun, you have had a lot on your mind. She had a rough night poor thing - fell asleep exhausted at 6.30pm, but then woke up at 10pm and didn't manage to get her back to sleep until 1.30am. Then she was tossing and turning for a couple of hours, having a little cry and then going back off to sleep, then finally woke up at 6am.

She seems quite tired today, and is a bit grizzly, but I don't think she's in pain, just annoyed with having to lug her pot around.

Jet, it's so odd isn't it - they are convinced that I should be getting the £250 a month. Like you say though, I'm just going to keep it nice and safe, ready to pay them back when they inevitably ask for it. I'm going to use it to overpay my mortgage/secured loan, because even if I have to redraw it to pay them back (which I can do easily with my offset mortgage), I will have benefitted from paying less interest/more capital in the meantime, which will mean my mortgage term will reduce slightly.

I've worn the skirt a couple of times now btw, and have had a few people say how nice it is, thanks very much. :) Had a bit of a mishap with it because the part of the zip you actually hold broke off, but clever hubby has put a tiny little hoop from a keyring onto it instead, so I've got something to hold to pull the zip up with. :rotfl:

I was a bit scared to Gemmzie - it can get a bit....lairy.....on there! :rotfl: But I might brave it tomorrow if I don't get any sense out of them when I ring. How's the essay going?

Ignore the randoms trolling, the helpful people over there are great. It is right that your amount will stay the same unless your incomes changed by more than £25k (yes that's not a typo). Then it'll correct itself again the year after. Mad system but it must be a hell of a job to organise it.

One of 4000 words is done and I'm fairly happy with it, it isn't great but I've lost my motivation for the course for now. Got the other one to do 500 done of 4000  so need to crack on over the loooong weekend (now till Wednesday - I'm only working Sunday) but tonight I'm having an evening off :)
