Spud, I think you're kidding us....all your stuff is white and silver? That sounds really nice and CO-ORDINATED!! ;)

    My stuff really isnt co-ordinated.

The fridge was integrated until I fell in love with an american FF. I had to part demolish some of my kitchen to get that in. Washing machine and drier do match ish, but they are in the utility room. The kichen bin is cheap horrible tesco value blue plastic. Coffee container is yellow, tea bag one broke so tea bags are in PG tips box, we have sweeteners so they are in a click dispenser.

The dog wont walk through the kitchen because it's tiled, soo we have to have a rug. We had one that did match the kitchen, but had to chuck it out, so now we have one that looks worse, but at least the bloody dog's happy :D

If I had the money, everything would be nice and co-ordinated, but we havent :rotfl:

Snaggles- did you get to the bottom of what and how much childcare help you were going to get? There's currently a lot of mse members on the benefits board who are very knowledgeable about tax credits.
Not really - we have had a new award notice saying we now don't owe them anything (phew!), but it also says they will be paying us £250 a month from now on. That will change once I tell them what our expected earnings are for this next year though. I don't think I will get any child care element at all, just the basic £40 a month or whatever it is, but between that and having paid off the loan, we should just about be able to manage (I think!).

I don't really like our finances being so vague, but I'll have to live with it for a couple of months until I know what my net salary will be.

Oooooh.....I have baby news!! (no, not THAT sort )

Natasha just took her first steps!!! :T :T

Me and Stu were sitting on the floor and trying to encourage her to walk between us - suddenly she just launched herself forwards and walked towards me. Now there's no stopping her, she can do 3 steps before she falls over, but she's getting steadier with every try!!!!!!!

I am literally crying with happiness that she did it while I was with her and not while I was at work, because she's been sooo close to walking for quite a while now. :j :j :j

You see, that would suit me just fine - matching Tesco value stuff is just as good as matching posh stuff to my poor obsessive brain!

And at least you have a microwave that works. Ours is broken and we can't afford to replace it unless I put it on the credit card with the £50 bin.

But you throw stuff away every day, so a bin is an 'essential', whereas the microwave only gets used when we have run out of pans and can't be bothered to wash up... :rotfl: :rotfl:
