You should just have stayed out of the kitchen snaggs then you wouldn't notice! my bin is one of those ones in a cupboard so you can't see it which is the only good thing about my kitchen - it's very 60s but not nice enough to be retro... one day when I'm DF...

Have fun tomorrow and remember to take some jaffa cakes in with you just in case you get withdrawl symptoms.

I have a similar issue with wires. I can't bear to see wires in my own house, they are all fed under the floorboards or channelled into the walls, but if I go to a friend's house and they have wires all over the place, I wouldn't even flinch.

And yes, I am wire city too - how did you guess?

    Hi Snaggles
Just wanted to say good luck at work!!
I start back after maternity in 4 weeks and my son just went to nursery today for the first time - hes 8 months now - to see how he got on eeekkkk!!! Im quite scared now of returning to office politics!!
Still it will be fab to see a fulltime wage coming back into the house once again. I've been single since during my pregnancy and have been living of savings so will definately be some much needed money!!
Oh and I'm with you on the bin but I got mine half price from Argos in the Boxing day sale for 24.99!!! hehe
    xx
Good luck going back, I hope it goes well for you - it's quite daunting, isn't it. Natasha was supposed to have some 'settling in' sessions at nursery but has been ill for the last 2 weeks and has missed them all (£78 down the drain _pale_), so Wednesday will be her first proper session.

You know, I saw the bins in the Argos sale at Xmas too, and I thought 'I'm not spending £25 on a bin'....:rotfl:

You must have *something* that matches - even I haven't managed that feat....

I have a blue kettle, a yellow toaster, a orange popcorn maker, black kitchen scales, a brushed aluminium juicer and a silver steamer.

Bin for the worms is dark green, bin for the rubbish is grey plastic, and the bin for the glass is black.

Have you come out in hives yet?

I would have a fit if that were my kitchen :rotfl: :rotfl: I am of the colour co-odinated gang!

    - ours are mostly silver with one old fashioned set of tins for four, sugar and coffee. just in case anyone really wnated to know!!

Em, I'll have to think about that one

Yep, I got some - the fridge/freezer, dishwasher , washing machine and tumble drier are all white.

The kettle glows blue, and the other bits n bobs are mostly stainless steel :rotfl:
