    - ours are mostly silver with one old fashioned set of tins for four, sugar and coffee. just in case anyone really wnated to know!!

    Well for storing stuff I have glass jars, so the sugar and flour are in matching white, rice is an off white, coffee is dark brown and pasta is light brown.

    Even more hives? ;)

    everything in my kitchen is brushed steel, except the bin plastic pretend silver and the toaster thats eternal beau i only replace when they die so its taking me years to get everything matching and yes before you shout at me i did have everything eternal beau ( shudders)

    Will be getting the matching bread bin shortly with my factfinders scanning points that I've accumulated. Can't wait :)

    Snaggles- did you get to the bottom of what and how much childcare help you were going to get? There's currently a lot of mse members on the benefits board who are very knowledgeable about tax credits.

    I need a new bin too and want a particular size and all the ones I see are about £50. I keep putting it off but I know I'll succumb eventually.:D

    Thanks Sea - doing 5 hours tomorrow, 9.30am - 2.30pm, so not too bad really. It will be a couple of weeks before I start my 'proper' hours.

    Nope I managed to kill my eternal beau toaster I also inherited from Grandma! I think my kettle is the beige attempt at eternal beau but not actual eternal beau :o :rotfl:

    *Note to self... add new kettle to my wish list*
