It only cost £53 to gets ours sorted. OH had the fun of emptying it first and spending an afternoon clearing up the mess. Its usually just built up limescale and other blockages such as coins in our case. I wouldnt write yours off just yet.:j0

A few weeks ago, I was walking through the woods, and my dog stopped for a wee - I was messing with my purse and dropped a tenner into the puddle of wee......how gross eh? I just left it there, no chance I was sticking my hand in THAT!!

Washing-gate update... MIL's fella has come round and emptied it and cleaned out the filter. Still isn't working and he said something about drum/motor bushes??Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Mine cost £50 to fix in sept..the drum brushes. Then i had a leak and had to have a new floor fitted, because the chap who fixed it pulled the cold water pipe and it dripped slowly under the laminate flooring.
Make sure if he fixes it that all connections are checked after.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

yes, I had motor brushes replaced many years ago - is the drum not rotating? It's a quick job, but unless they know what they are doing, it's probably a repair man job I'm afraid. I'd guess £50 or so?
