Not getting a bill isn't grounds for cancelling your contract.
You can always cancel a dd.
But they will still chase you for the money, and add extra costs on top.0 -
so do i have any options? do they have to send bills i cant get my cash back without them0
-
All you can do is explain the situation to your cashback company (though they're not known for their understanding!), and ask o2 to send you paper bills.
How long has this gone on?0 -
been last 2 bills. 1st one ok cancelled itemised billing then zilch.
can i demand bill be4 payment is taken?0 -
Why have you let it drag on?
They should inform you how much is to be taken before lifting it out of your account.
But can't you get this info off their website?0 -
i haven't let it drag on i asked last month and was promised it would be sorted then none this month just apologies. thats what i mean can they just take money without bill can i cancel dd and just pay when i get a bill. i need a original bill for cashback not a copy i think.0

You can cancel a dd - but they usually charge more for using a different payment method.
They will be assuming you are using on line bills and do know how much they will take.
Get on to them and make sure you are now flagged for paper bills.0 -
If not sorted then cancelling the Direct Debit may be an option. They would presumably have to send a bill for you to pay. Looks like they have cancelled sending you bills instead of just the "itemised" bit. If cancelling the Direct Debit tell them and ask for bills to be sent prior to payment.
Good luck,
