Hi Stuart
Thanks for the 'get well' wishes, I'm afraid I'm not much better today - roll on the weekend...
Re Topcash, I had originally intended enrolling with Quidco but then read a few bits of adverse feedback plus as you say TC has no annual fee. My cashback is being tracked (I've always wondered exactly what you all meant when you said that and now I know) I was expecting £65 but it says £65.65 so even better.
Regards

Well, for anyone who has read some of my thread you will have seen that I had a share dilemma a few months ago, namely, should I buy lots of Lloyds shares when they did the last rights issue; well here I am again with the same dilemma second time round
I made a good profit last time and even held some shares back as I was confident of them in the longer term. I'm really keen to buy some more though I will have to get a bit creative to rustle up the funds.
I'm interested to see what price they will be under the RI as there is lots of gossip in the news and internet forums. Is anyone else on here thinking about taking up their RI options?MFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

Just got another little job sorted; I realised last night that one of my savings accounts had been open for a year and it was one of those ones whereby the interest rate dropped after 12 months - in actual fact it turned out that the 12 months was up 3 weeks ago and the rate had dropped to 0.08 - oops...
Anyway, i've opened another two on-line accounts - one with a higher rate but no interest at all paid on months when withdrawls are made an the other an instant access one. I know the interest rates are not the best out there but I must confess a combination of laziness, lack of time and being able to see everything in one place has kept me with the same bank. There isn't massive amounts of money concerned so I'll just put potential better interest rates at the back of my mindMFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

Hmm, best laid plans about setting up my overpayment on-line, it worked but it worked too well  I don't get paid until to-morrow so I've made myself a wee bit overdrawn however, I'm blaming the ever-changing goal posts on the faster payments system, e.g occassionally it goes the same day but mostly it takes 2-4 days. Hey ho, I guess, should only be coppers in debit interest but still annoying.
Anyway, i've hit another mini-milestone today whereby my IO balance has dropped another thousand at the front e.g. until today it start with 86 am now it's 85, actually I made an odd OP of £512.55 to deliberately bring the balance £1 below £85,500:rotfl:
Now off to update my siggy :jMFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

Hi all
I've just applied to redeem £40 of vouchers from my goldfish points. I normally would have about £120 to redeem at the end of the year but this year I've been spending far less :money:as well as the fact that I also took a 0% on purchases c/c so some of my spending this year has gone on that instead of the goldfish.
I'm still pleased with the £40 and some of them will go towards the remaining christmas pressies I need to buy.MFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

Can't wait for the RI price on the Lloyds shares to come out to-morrow, I've done more than enough playing with my spreadsheets and doing calculations based on 'what ifs' and now just want the facts.
PS (said very quietly) I think I'm going to borrow the money from my parents who are kindly going to let me keep any profits made on the sharesMFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

I'll update further at the weekend when I have more time but I just wanted to make two quick confessions; well they might be quick but they are huge
- Spent £1500 on-line on clothes this week (NB reeeeeeealy hoping that lots of it will need to go back if I don't like them, plus I've ordered several coats to try when I only need one as well as serveral dresses but hopefully I'll only keep one or two
- Spent £10,500 bying Lloyds Rights Issues shares. Now before you think I've been holding out on you about how much savings I have I haven't! the £500 is from my savings and then I've borrowed £10k from my parents

Good Luck with the shares.0 -

Good luck with the shares... shares still scare me...
