Have retrieved lunchbags from pile of detritus depoisited as DDs entered house. Also discovered a letter from school informing me that DD2 is going on an outing next monday (shes very excited) would I please return the signed perminssion slip and £12.50 ... WFT the last one was £4. I did think typo but no. £6.50 for the "activity", £5.00 for the coach fare and £1 for a present. Shes 5. Its an Early Years outing to the local aquarium. Glad I don't have twins!

    Today's list:-

    [STRIKE]
    Clear and wipe surfaces
    Open windows
    Sweep floor
    [/STRIKE]
Mop floor delegated to OH in return for a haircut
    [STRIKE]
    Clean cupboard fronts
    Clean DW
    Clean appliances
    Wipe table
    Make bread
    [/STRIKE]
Make steak and kidney for tea - will do chicken dinner instead - chicken needs eating first

    If I can be bothered:-

Under sink - might be arsed to do tomorrow
Clean a drawer - ditto to above
HHI - will do after dinner

moo2moo - you can come round here and tackle my oven if you're up for a challenge!

lurvely pressies sharon - hope you've had a fab birthday

A work friend has offered to make me a cake as my wedding pressie from her so I'm thinking of having a 2 tier, plain white cake with a champagne band to match my dress (1 sponge and 1 fruitcake layer to please both gibbons) and 2 sugar paste gibbons like in my avatar on top instead of a traditional bride and groom - I like to keep things simple!

Do the school know who they are taking on pigpen? I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you happen to them re: the autistic boy. Just a daft thought but if your arm is hurting how in the heck do you peel potatoes one handed? Scare em out of the skins? Teehee :D

Flippin' heck Mudbath - you're on one today aren't you - thems a lot of crossings out

Better go and sling the dinner in the oven

    Laters
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

    Evening all

Congrats to those with job interviews
Hugs to those who are poorly or feeling rantful (think I've just invented a word there!)
And well dones to those who have flown today.

I'm all out of sorts myself this evening. I'm not long back from the hygienist and am having a medicinal G&T to try and sort out the tension headache that's been developing since I first sat on that chair. I'm a really wuss when it comes to anything dental and have really sensitive teeth too.

They are absolutely bl**dy marvellous at my surgery and put up with me whimpering like a babe in the chair. The hygienist even opts for the old fashioned scrapers rather than the new fangled ultrasonic thing because she knows new fangled stuff makes my teeth even more sensitive. She's even given me some free samples of sensitive toothpaste to try on one particularly sensitive molar I have to see if it will help. (Just the air from the whizzy thing will send it twinging - and it doesn't need filling or anything).

But once the medicine drunk, I shall do those bits of flying I promised I'd do this morning. Better go and see just what they are.
