G&B that's a whopping amount to be without  mine went down this week too but only by £7 but still I liked the other number better lol
moo2moo WOOT! I toally understand where you're coming from re: being stuck at home I felt exactly the same way as you, you'll LOVE having a job again.
AnW'smum/Mudbath thanks re: NI, the guy said he's sending me an exemption certificate because I'm not earning enough... I have to be earning more than £4,825.00 per year which I'm not, OH said not to pay it cause it only applies to certain benefits and there probably wont be a state pension by the time I have to claim lol one other thing.......I failed to mention I was getting WTC will it make a difference ie: do they take all my other monies into account? (WTC, child benefit, maintenance) he just asked me about any other jobs I may haveDo I need to get back on the phone to them?

Oh yes.. I had a similar battle to get my son in and get him the help he needed.. I am a formidable foe! lol

Evening all!
Back from first day of term with children in school. Yesterday was so much quieter!
Pigpen - good luck with your mission! (Though I wouldn't want to argue with you!!!!)
Sharon - Happy birthday!!! (what's left of it!!!)
Re teachers' clothes - our school has a staff dress code. No 'strappy' tops, nothing made of denim, and nothing too short. Pretty much what you;ve all been saying! Mind you on our last dress down day I squeezed into the sample gymslip sent by our uniform suppliers - amazing how many fathers needed to see me that day!!
Aiming to fly when small people all in bed. The plan is to iron whilst watching Hotel Babylon and get stuff ready for tuna and pasta bake for tea 2moro. Will try to get to level 2 in kitchen (or maybe not!)
Must remember that DD1 needs badges sewing on for Brownies - still they've waited this long - they can wait some more if pushed!
Hugs to all who need them - chocolate for those who have had a pants day too!!

Not quite as green as I am sprout looking
i'd agree there's definitely a look of a sprout about you :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
littlegibbon - i love the gibbon idea. we had cats on our wedding cake. they were made to look like the three we had at the time and on the bottom tier we had mini cat paw prints.
we've just had a rather bored looking lib dem council man come to the door. it was the usual can we count on your vote and have you any questions. well actually yes i have lots of questions...what are you doing about x, y and z. he ended up saying he must get on :rotfl: . i've got a list of questions for all the others who come round too.
i've finished my list and also;
- sorted through the bath toys (loads aren't played with)
- folded all the towels and put away
- cleared airing cupboard and thrown tatty towels out
- cleared space to dry underwear in airing cupboard (half a bin bag of carp)
- 5 mins maths with both children (they wanted to do more but i don't want to over do it)
- got children to tidy up one item of carp in their room for each year of their life
- got children to put away their own underwear (in the right places).
think that's it. going to have a wander round and see what else needs to be done xx0 -
Happy birthday Sharon, enjoy the rest of your day!
Just home from work and yawning my head off. Kitchen day today then? I'm not spending more than half an hour in there but you can't half do a lot in a HHC.
I've not read through the thread properly but I'll attempt it later.
Lil_me, if you were in the red bit between 3.30 and 6 yesterday then we will have passed each other for certain!

Hi Solwaykid, haven't seen you on here for a while.
I am off back to Hexham to the hospital again. I am really getting tired of hospitals. DS2 is driving me and we have the exciting prospect of Aldi afterwards.
We have just heard we have got a loan coming through this week too. I was surprised they agreed. We are going in the opposite direction to everyone else on here. More debt but all planned to be paid off with our mortgage in 2015. It doesn't seem so bad if you say it fast.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
