Pictures of my dress from china. I paid £65 for it off eBay. Te photo showed the Alfred angelo style 1136 (I didn't realise this until after I purchased it whilst looking at AA flower girls dresses)0

Has anyone bought from missfishbridalonline? I have found a dress I love but it is way over my budget and this website looks good. I am just worried however about the quality and if something seems too good to be true it normally is? Looking forward to hearing from people.0

This thread is a little old - has anyone had some more recent experience? As a plus size bride, I love the idea of having something a bit more fancy for a much lower cost.
Any recommendations would be fab.0 -
Hi,
Has anyone recently purchased a wedding dress from China?
I'm thinking of getting one from truelovebridal. They have 100% feedback, but not all of their reviews are for wedding dresses (although the wedding dress ones are good too).
Would be interested to see if anyone has used them or if anyone can recommend someone?
Thanks0 -
Used an indepedent seller on ebay and Lightinthebox (yep, went for two, just in case!), and both were absolutely perfect, so wore one (the long princess one) for the ceremony) and the other (shorter and lighter) for the evening party. I loved both of them and they both fitted me well (just a few alterations required with the long one because of the length). I got so many compliments about them, and the few people I admitted the costs were godmacked, persuaded I had paid a lot of money for them. Both together came to a grand total of £220!!! So pleased with the decision I made to give a try.0

I was wary of these Chinese designer copies after seeing some horrible reviews and stories online but my Stepsister used a particular ebay seller from China for her bridesmaid dresses recently and I was really impressed with them considering the low price she paid. I'm now thinking of using the same seller for mine.
I know it can be pot luck and my stepsister might just have been a lucky one but this particular seller has 100% positive feedback over 1300 sales so she looks to be consistent. I wouldn't be expecting the design/fabric/colour to look exactly identical to the picture as she's doing the usual thing of using designers pictures on the listing and copying them but my stepsisters dresses came out remarkably similar to the pics considering they were only £60 each and the fabric and fit were fine. My stepsisters are big girls too and they said the support in the bodice was also fine.
If anyone wants the seller's ebay user name (at your own risk obviously, do your own research and make your own mind up) you could PM me (am I allowed to say that?)
If I can figure out how to post pictures on here I will post the pictures from the ebay page and pics of the actual dresses that turned up being worn at my stepsisters wedding.
If I do choose to go with this seller myself, I will also let you know how it turns out....Don’t try to keep up with the Jones’s. They are broke!0 -
This was the seller's picture of the dress worn by the bigger girls (both the sellers pics were pinched from websites selling the designer version)
This was the seller's picture of the dress worn by the slimmer one
And these are the pictures of the actual dresses that arrived being worn by my stepsisters on the day.Don’t try to keep up with the Jones’s. They are broke!0
