Tash
Hi Tash,
I got the small Ted Baker Cosmetic Clutch bag today..... it was marked down from £11.xx to £5.xx. (it had one of the "clearance" stickers on it) I know some people have got it cheaper than this, but I really wanted it, so treated myself anyway. You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Has anyone been refused the double cotton wool cosmetic pads in the 2 for £2 offer-They were priced at £2.39 each but with the sign saying £2 for 2.The sa refused to accept this and said that would be ridiculous and charged me for each
if the sa had done the transaction as normal the till does the offer and shows how much she saved, thats a shame i would have left it and done another sa or store.
To keep it grabbit related i've noticed alot of deodrant reduced
Boots coral 24 hr protection. 250ml spray 50p
Boots coral roll on. 50ml 35p
Radox roll on £1and links to a offer which i can't remeber sorry.
sanex roll on £1
also
santuary foot scrub in glass jar £2
santuary foot scrub in squeezy tube £10 -
Today's shopping
1st transaction - Nurofen Melts ...phew, I needed those.
Upstairs in PC (Hull) they had some tiny travel first aid kits for 50p. I can't find these online, and never seen them before, so not sure what they were before they went on the clearance. (probably a couple of quid maximum?)
Only problem is the sell by date's the end of this month lol. Bought 6 and got a dirty look from the SA. I spotted her later admiring them with her colleague - so that might explain the dirty look? lol.
The Glitter Babe bags were reduced from £10 to £2.50 so would make a nice gift for some little girl. I'm tempted to pop back and buy oneThose Mentis Educational Toys have finally been reduced to £2. I tried once before to describe these - and failed, but they're here:
http://www.mentisxl.o r g /
That might show up as a load of exclamation marks so delete the spaces. Failing that, Google for 'Mentis'Originally £34.99 if I've read that right?
The free gwp on 17 works with the Lip Glaze and the Ultimate Volume Lipgloss, so with magazine voucher, and £1 off Ultimate Lipgloss, all 3 going through for £2.79 - no bleeps. Works ok in PC, Kingston, and Kingswood. Really, really really lovely SA in Kingswood, so I'll mail CS if I ever find a spare momentThere were some odds and ends reduced on the R&M make-up brushes, by about £2 ish. Nothing worth dashing out for
Various price reductions on the Ted Baker bags, but empty shelves in some stores, or no reductions at all in others.
Kids washbags are still reduced - can't remember the price but nice little bags and 75% off. There was a neat looking striped toiletry bag for £4 and I think it was originally £12 - on the shelves near the £3 green toiletry bags.
I'm not sure if it's in crazyposhgal's OP, (thanks for the new thread btw) but the Essential Aromatherapy is all on bogof. Bought a hand cream and got one free but might try the £10 set next time, or the oil burner thing.
Those trinket sets are £2 in Kingswood - so not a massive saving compared to some other towns.
Tights were mainly all £1 in Kingston and on 3 for 2. Bought 3 reduced from £4 each, so not a bad saving. Except I'll be giving them away so no saving at all for me lol. Still in Kingston Retail (staff are usually really good in there too - they try to tell you if you've missed a 342!) and the Simple Summer Look Body Lotion's back down to £1. The clearance is at the very back of the store btw.
The Bourjois tweezers go through ok with the till spit. No tweezers on display in Kingswood, but had the sharpeners, which I bypassed. The No7 humming bird eye compact things are approx £2.75 too. The packaging's really dull imo - not eye-catching at all.
I'm still wary of trying vouchers from other stores in Kingswoodso need to sort out which are from where lol.
No Expert Tins on display in any of the stores, but those vouchers are really confusing me anyway lol.
geordie_lass The Smiley sets are still the same price - £29 ish, so you really did get a mega-bargain there
Just off to rack my addled brain, take a virtual mental tour of all the stores again, and will try to remember if there was anything else worth mentioning. x
P.S. Didn't see any reductions on nit treatments Valk_scot:rotfl:

I would have left them myself, b*gger the queue
So would i, that and pulling her over to where it states the offer so she could not quibble it.! Sorry to hear about your unfair experience sonee, sounds horrible for you
PS: Bourjois nail poilish remover/tillspit not working in Arndale Centre either, so thats the 2 major Manchester ones out
Maybe its certain areas only where they work? Please report in if you can peeps. x0 -

Has anyone seen the £5 Ruby and Millie compacts anywhere that are on dot com? Can't see them anywhere - was wondering if just on-line.

I bought one instore a couple of months ago for £5, so not exclusive to .com
Having said that, I asked again at the weekend if they had any more, and the SA gave me a very strange lookso they probably didn't stock many

After you've cleared the lice you could try using this as a repellant
Boots Coconut and almond leave in conditioner £1.29 for a spray bottle. I used this when DD had lice and she didn't get them back again. Apparently lice don't like coconut. They do a coconut and almond shampoo as well.
I used the nitty gritty comb with this and would recommend them both.0 -
Hiya
heading down to Cumbria for a few days and thought it would be rude not to visit Boots - has anyone any info on the Workington or Whitehaven branches?
TIA

bluetimone97 wrote: »Jst before we go on topic, I have boys but 2 years ago bought a comb the same as the nitty gritty one that boots do (and there is an offer on the acm for it too atm), it is great at removing the eggs too and in fact my neighbour who has a daughter with waist length thick hair, borrowed in once (desperate times when they could not find their comb) and was so impressed she went out the next day and bought one herself.
It has like little spirals that the eggs get caught in.
Although my tail it's last has waved, from pain and suffering I've been saved, don't grieve that it should be you, who has decided this thing to do, we've been so close we two these years, don't let your heart hold any fears.
Totally off topic I know, but I had to say, I love your signature0
