Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 22 - Post your finds here

· Boots 1 (Sauchihall street) - got 3 x Bourjois pencil sharpeners (used £2 cosmetics till voucher) = free
I tried getting the Bourjois nail varnish remover but the till beeped (girl tried twice but till said no).
I couldn’t see any Stay Dry trial packs in the sanitary section but I don’t know if they perhaps have another section for bladder weakness. Couldn’t see a clearance section either but I didn’t have much time and never ventured downstairs.

· Boots 2 (Buchanan Galleries) - 3 x Boots stay dry trial packs 49p each but paid using gift voucher I got for doing survey and used 3 x 200 points.
Bourjois section was small and I didn’t see any pencil sharpeners.

Queue was long, I was already running 5-10 mins late and could see DH standing outside with grumpy crying DS waiting for me. Otherwise I would have got other stuff and had a relaxing wander about.

Would have loved to got to the St Enochs branch but chances are slim to none when I go to Glasgow with DS and DH. DH moans that 1 Boots should be more than enough and always asks why I have to always go to more than one. Also DS always plays us and gets tired/grumpy/bored after the first 10 mins of use venturing out anywhere.

Tempted to get a bus into Edinburgh tomorrow to get my Boots fix

got some bargain mascara using my till spit today

bourjois glamour volume mascara is usually £7.25 each but they are on offer at 2 for £10.
then i used my till spit = getting both for £8, so thats £4 each!!

I can't remember exactly where i saw them but I know they were on the right hand side of the store (as you walk in), I think near the suncare area quite low down on the shelves (about 2nd up) and the ladie's was right next to the mens. Hopefully NettieNoo will be back to tell you exactly where, lol.

I've not been tempted by them myself because I got some of the mixed scents of attraction/occasion £18 one's that they do for Xmas from the 75% sale.

By the way they still have these available on .com for £4.50 (the attraction ones and Scents of Style Men ones).

Imagine if we each collected all of the carrier bags we had from boots, how many would you have???

Also, I asked this already today but does anyone know how old you have to be to work at Boots? I would love to work on the tills or in the cosmetics stand bit!

Thanks Sam..not too sure myself either , wished I'd had a better look around Chester this morning as I rarely go there and the store is quite big (compared to the ones I frequent ) should have priced more perfume sets though.. pleased with my R&m purchases though so can't complain really.

Clearance in S St is normally by the tills(as you q up on R side) on ground floor and all over the place downstairs. B galleries its in the middle of the floor on an aisle end. St Enochs is usually downstairs and occasionally upstairs at the back near mens aftershave.
