I couldn't see any Staydry trial packs in Cheshire Oaks today.

    Amelia's Mummy/nettieNoo....
I did notice that they've moved their clearance shelf though!!!

It's now right near the tills right were you have to queue! I guess this is to encourage people to look whilst waiting to be served. Only problem is if you want to see what they've got you either have to be in the queue or make nuisance of yourself and get in the way of the queue!
Sam , I did notice that they had moved the clearance section, searched round the whole shop..nothing asked SA 'oh we don't have one anymore!!' ( god I must look like a cheapskate !?!) Went to tills and hey presto it was there.. this was one day last week.. can't remember which day though anyway went in a couple of days ago... went straight to clearance section...not there no stand to be seen by the tills. They must have put it back again..is Boots playing tricks with us ? Much on the clearance stand? Was it Cheshire Oaks you got the sharpener?
Thanks for the headsup on the ted baker ..not sure what it's like though,

Nothing at all to catch my eye on the clearance shelf to be honest. Lots of little bags and hair accessories, Smile denture stuff, mainly tat.

Yeah this is where I got the sharpener, there was quite a few on the bottom shelf of Bourjouis (sp?) display. Just said can I try this with that, young lad SA just scanned them both and said yes that works fine :D

Have been served by this SA before and he's great at taking vouchers etc.

My Boots had the sign standing on the top of the stand but in Manchester it was pretty well hidden unless you were looking at the tester bit they have all the stuff they use for makeovers . Maybe they don't see it as a gwp it shows on the till as a linked save. Give it a try and hand them the two items first it should say linked save after that if it doesn't say you don't want them. The free item is one of four, two rectangular eye palletes in black boxes with a brown diamond spray on them for the brown shades and green spray for the green shades, a lip palette and a larger square box with 3 goldy coloured tubes of eye colour and a highlighter with a brush. My stores display poster had the pictures on them. Sometimes the only way I have known there has been a promo is when it's been on here. Maybe we should take up training them ourselves and get paid in points .
The free gift can be got with the brushes on the end of the r&m stand and the make up bags and with clearance stuff. Hth

Twig1 thanks ever so much over the Ruby and Millie stuff went to chester today.... did 2 shops ( from clearance section)
    1. 2 x R&M compacts ( the ones in little pouch) @ £2.50 each and got free GWP of eye pallette plus got £2 till spit!
    2. 1 x R&M compact @£2.50 and 1 x cosmetic bag £4.25 and got free GWP metallics collection used £2 till spit so paid £4.75 not until paid realised that I should have added something small to get another till spit...but too excited at my purchases. Worked out if I had paid for everything and paid full price i would have paid £53.50 only paid £9.75.

Mmmmm just need a nice large bag to put all my make up in now!!

Clearance stand had loads of the limited editions tropical eyes at £2.75 they also had the lip gleams but these were only reduced to £7 so not much of a saving. Had other No 7 stuff including the trinket trios for £2 but see that someone got/saw them for 50p!!

Twig1 thanks also for the tip on the parking i parked where you suggested !! ;)

I think I know the SA you mean;) Won't bother with a visit then to CO for a few days then...meant to say haven't seen any stay dry anywhere ( ellesmere port /Cheshire Oaks, Bromborough or Chester today) but I haven't got the vouchers on my Ac card either.

Back from Bognor and kind of peeved as SA took one of my vouchers but it didn't go through (I only just checked my receipt).

    I got No7 foundation £13.25
    No7 concealer (free with foundation)
    No7 concealer (free on 342)
    Trevor Sorbie Shampoo
Trevor Sorbie Conditioner (free with pc voucher plus got some extra off as on offer at the moment - 2 for £7 I think)
    Sanex deodrant £1.10 (reduced)

I paid just over £16 (savings of over £30 so I am pleased) but I gave SA my £5 voucher wys £20 on No7 and it never took it off ! She never told me it hadn't taken the £5 off (which I can only presume is because with the discounts it didn't amount to £20), and kept the coupon ! Grrrrrrrrrrr. Do the vouchers show up on SA screen as not accepted? Sorry rant over, but I do use a lot of No7 stuff and i'm a bit miffed that I've now lost a voucher for £5 !

I'm PRAYING they have some in Leicester! I'm going to look everywhere they do clearance and in the NO.7 bit!

Taking my best friend with me, hope she doesn't get too bored! Might give her my card and let her print off vouchers for herself and me!:rotfl:
Hoping to find the RM compacts too!

Took her in today, she thought it would be funny to set her pedometer to see how far we walked........ 1.2 miles!!

Anyway, she grasped the concept of clearance and we got 3 4 2 skincare and she gave me the expert tin!!!! We price checked the Ted Baker bags but they were normal price:confused: . Got her Mum some cotton wool pads and her some 'anti nail biting' stuff from the clearance for 80p. :p

THEN WE BROKE THE SS MACHINE:eek:   But the sa was nice so she got the manager and we paid at the till.:D

My friend got her 1st boots card but it wouldn't work! What a shame, looks like i'm taking the points:rotfl:

We hung around the max factor bit for freebies but didn't get any. Boo! But we did get a sample of Nivea Silhouette!

Leicester have got the bird No.7 eye things (£2.75 i think) and the trinket gift (£5).

    TTFN!
    Charlotte xox

PS. Not Boots but we went to the Clarins (i think thats how it's spelt) at Debenhams and they had little lip application sticks laying around shhh!:rotfl:

PPS. Does anyone know how old you have to be to work at Boots? I'm 16 on 23rd April!:T
'I'm not a girl, not yet a woman!'
    Finished my exams now! YAY!
