Hi all :hello:
Not a very exciting shop today, nothing interesting on the clearance, no more nail sets, didn't notice any reductions.
For info anyone going to Worcester Boots the tillspit WILL work with the bourjois tweezers but WON'T work with the bourjois nail polish remover or glass nail file - I don't think I've seen anyone mention the nail file has anyone managed to get one anywhere?3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

GLOUCESTER STORE
After getting the Boujois tweezers yesterday I went back today & asked my lovely No7 SA if she would try the sharpener for me, despite her telling me she'd been told it declined & she was right...it bleeped. She did thank me for alerting her to the tweezers so she got some yesterday too.
Putting the sharpeners back I noticed I'd gave her a hair till spit NOT a recent make up one & she was then busy so I asked another SA on baby to try it & it worked.
I ran back upstairs to bag the last 2 & took them to No7 SA & told her they did work. She put one through for me & went to do the other & I said I grabbed it for her as it was the last one even though I had another spit to get it for myself. She was very pleased, said thanks.
I chatted about her thinking I'm a nutcase but she said she's happy to try the vouchers as it helps her know what works ( hence the tweezers & sharpener )
Lots of expert tins, no stay dry trial packs. Also lots of yellow/black MF bags with various items in ( are these GWP that go through 0.00 ) but I don't think I'd chance asking No7 SA to try that one as I reckon if it worked she'd tell the MF girls as she's expect them to do the same I'm sure.
Glad to hear the sharpener went through fine hun, you had me worried there for a sec! :eek:0 -

Sorry, rubbish at explaining things.
I scanned the till spit coupon as a item, did not press coupons at the end of the transaction.. and paid with cash,,, the SS took the spit off but I did not need to post the coupons.... I kept the till spits to use another time.:D

I've just had a relatively successful shop at Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street Branch. Well if you can call it successful - I only went in to get weighed. Next time I am going to go in the back door and run back out again afterwards with out having a look around.
Anyway, back to my purchases (sorry about the long story - I never was good at getting straight to the point!!!).
As I was walking past the perfume counters I noticed a stand with about forty million Britney Speirs Perfume sets on it (okay a bit exagerated) with a sign saying now reduced to From £10.
I didn't really want any of them but sitting alongside them were three of the Smiley Gift Set Boxes.
I had no idea how much they were meant to be and couldn't remember who had seen them recently or how much they had paid but I knew even if it was £10.00 it was still a relatively good deal so I took it over to get it price checked.
The SA scanned it and said it was reduced to £29.99. Reduced - that didn't seem very much of a saving to me - or was it? Anyway, I replied that I assumed it would have been cheaper than that as it was on that stand. The young man SA standing beside her said "that's right - all perfumes on that stand are £10.00". I could have kissed him. I said that's good I'll take one but I've got another couple of things to get too.
As I was buying something else I decided to try the No.17 glitch again (this glitch definately doesn't like me. I've tried it twice already and it bleeped both times). Anyway, I'm digressing again - sorry. I took a lip liner, lip glaze and GWP and decided to pay the pharmacy counter. I needed to get ibruprofen as well.
Anyway, the nice young girl rung everything up and asked for £41.??? I nearly had a fit. I said that's a lot more than I was expecting. I did mention that the perfume set was now only £10 and the till had beeped again with the lip glaze coupon. Unfortunately she couldn't overwrite the till and would need to get a supervisor. I thought "bang goes my GWP again".
The lovely Supervisor came over and agreed the perfume was only £10.00 and said, yes I was still entitled to the GWP as the No.17 products did add up to more than £5 (I wonder if she noticed my jaw dropping to the floor at this remark). The girl had also put the wrong Ibruprofen box in the bag - the shelf had been filled incorrectly so she had given me ones that weren't included in the Health Club discounts. The Supervisor also changed these over and apologised to me for my wait and then let the girl finish off what she was doing. When my bill came to £11.44 I was confused. I know I expected it to be a lot less than £44 whatever but I thought this was a bit too cheap but the girl said "it must be right - the supervisor did it!!!" So needless to say I was happy.
Long and short of it was the Smiley Perfume did in fact have a "save" on it - it was a third off. That was probably why the other SA had originally told me it was reduced to £29.99. Was it maybe £44.99 in the first place?
I ended up only paying £6.66 for it, £2.99 for my painkillers and £1.79 for my three NO.17 things.
I was well chuffed with my shopping.
There were another three Smiley Gift Sets on the shelf if anyone wants one.
Sorry if I've rabbited on again - I really must get out more!!!0
