So if she doesn't live there, she isn't going to know enough about a town to be able to state that everyone knows each other. You cannot make such a statement about a town you don't live in, you just wouldn't have enough knowledge.

So thats basically meaning we can now discount everything emweaver has said to back you up because in actual fact she can't know.
