my dog (a beagle) is not right today.
ive just taken him for a little walk and he keeps sitting down turning round trying to bite his tail/bottom and yelping. i had to pull him and coax him to get him home. hes laying down now but is breathing rather fast but other than that appears fine.
i have no idea what is up with him. do you have any ideas?

The dog is in pain already - you don't know what is causing him to be distressed & the longer you leave it the worse it could get! If there is something causing him pain don't you think you should get it sorted by a professional as soon as you can?nothing to see here, move along...0

£50 is nothing if it helps your dog.
I would rather spend that, than have my dog suffer.

For heavens sakes.........
I'm so fed up of reading about people who are unwilling to take on the responsibility of a pet without taking on the responsibility of the financial expense too.
Whatever the problem, your animal is clearly in pain and you have no idea why - take him to the vet!It aint over til I've done singing....0 -
Do you have insurance? That would cover this cost. If it costs you £50 & it's nothing you will still have piece of mind that nothing is wrong & know that you have done the right & responsible thing by your pet. I doubt he would be acting like that if nothing is wrong & if nothing is wrong you wouldn't have started this thread! Even if nothing is wrong it will still be £50 well spent as it sounds like your dog is unhappy & in pain.nothing to see here, move along...0
