I've got a long way to go before I'm a skinny minnie lol... Probably about half my original weight lol.
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

well, weighed myself today and have lost about 2lb s this week, and I am 3lb away from losing in total 1 stone, so am desperate now to get to that milestone.

well done for the weight lose, you are all doing really well, I cant even motivate myself to do dvd's (does'nt help that kids are around all the time), I did go out today for a half an hour walk though.

Half an hour walk is better than sitting in front of the TV all day which is what I've done, DD isn't very well, haven't been able to do anything except surf the web with her curled up on my lap....

Tea is turning into a nightmare, have a low fat tikka cooked but the steamer wouldn't do the rice properly, have given in and sent OH to the chippy for some chips to go with it...

Oh, and I discovered my shoes have come down in price from £70 to £50 which has done nothing for my mood! Thinking of ordering some more online for £50 and taking the ones I bought for £70 back to the shop... Don't know if they would take them back now though, it's been over 28 days...

Krystal, I think it all depends what shop, I have taken things back before, they might try and give you credit for that particular shop though, Give it a go, I always do, the worst that could happen is they say no.

Don't beat yourself up about the chippy, Ill kids and nightmare meal times, sounds like my house! Just get back on the wagon tomorrow and enjoy your chips, I know when I was with weight watchers, they always used to say if you have a bad day just enjoy it and restart the next day. xx

Just nipped over from August feel free to throw me off :D

I lost 2 stone with weight watchers about 7 years ago and have kept most of it off. I still revert to points every so often.

Losing weight is like fighting a war. You can't expect to win every battle but its overall that counts.

Try dividing your day up into sections and say if I'm still hungry at x I'll have y to eat. Then when you get to x try and go a bit longer. I have a really sweet tooth and used to have a bag of sweets like chewits which I used as rewards. Suppose I should have had grapes or something but it worked for me.

Try and stay positive and the weight will drop off especially as you get closer to the wedding stress is a great slimming aid :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Exactly,
Thanks for the words of encourgement for the september groovy gang, chips truly are lovely thats for sure. me and OH are off for a weekend away so will have to be good. i have a pair of roller skates and so does he, so might get some excercise from whizzing around on them thats if i dont break my neck...
(am just thinking how weird we sound as a couple...Roller skates) We do like to do strange and funny things!!!!

    Tomorrow is another day

  • Roller skates are so much fun, i got a new pair last year but haven't had the chance to go out in them much due to weather and not many places in Leicester with smooth pavement.

it's my weigh in tonight - not looking forward to it though - my bus journey home last night was a nightmare, first the bus was over 20inutes late then the traffic was so bad that i got a terrible headache (my bus journey is usually 1 hour so thats quite a while stuck on a bus) so anyway by the time i got home i couldn't be bothered to cook so got OH to get chinese, was nice but regretted it after.

got to be good this week as i am out for an all you can eat buffet on tuesday with my friends and sister so everyone can meet who is going on my hen week away so i will most likely make a pig of myself then, so i am hoping if i am good the rest of the time then it won't affect my weigh in next week?

fingers crossed for tonight, i need it x
