It's alright once you're doing it... it's the thinking about how bads it's going to be that's the worst part....
Thanks all for the congrats, got a way to go yet though, just hope I can keep it up!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... well done Krystal :j
i didn't go for my weigh in last week as i had the week off work, i haven't been very well so i know i have put on  , i can tell as my clothes are tighter - i have my weigh in tonight so will find out what damage the lovely comfort food has done - when i am ill i always pig out.
as for wedding, i paid the deposit for my bridesmaid dresses and all the suits last weekend and we are looking for wedding rings this weekend.
we have the menu's from the caterers we just need to decide what to go for and pay deposit then most of the important things are sorted - yipee :T
i just realised i only have 5 more weigh in's before i go on my hen week so got to work hard and get back on track for the bikini!

Sorry gang..
Been a busy bunny.... sounds like the september groovy gang are on track. I have been out and about on my roller skates so am trying to burn the calories off!!! I have shifted just the 1lb but thats better than putting it on eh!!!
I still havent got my frock yet, everyone keeps harping on about it and its driving me bananas, I am sure i should be super excited about the dress and stuff but cant... I suppose its the weight thing, i just wanna shift a bit more before i order it, anyone else feel the same???
I MUST TRY HARDER....
Keep going gang we will get there in the end..

Don't worry princess you will get there.
Don't worry about your dress too much although if you are going to order it some places can take 12 weeks if not more.
Remember you can always have it taken in if necessary.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I felt exactly the same princess, I had big visions of ordering one 3 sizes too small and losing loads of weight... As it happens I've bought an ex display one that fits adequately now but would benefit from an inch or so lost...
Incidently, think I've blown it this week, just been on a wonderful date with H2B, we went to a restaurant in Birmingham called around the world in 80 dishes... All you can eat... Chinese, Italian, Thai, Mexican and indian... Followed by a trip to krispy kreme doughnuts in Selfridges.... Oh well... There's always next week

hi i really understand the dress thing, it's the only thin about the wedding that i really was dreading and that's not an understatement. i've been humliated in shops and made to look like cinderella's really really ugly sister or a pantomime dame. eventually by fluke i found a lovely shop, ordered a dress and then about a month ago i went to visit the dress and ended up swapping it for a much nicer one. I have had nightmares about it recently though - i became 3 inches shorter and i told them to bin it.

I'm joining then! I get married on 5th September this year, a week before I'm 40! Second marriage too so maybe I'm the oldie here?
Venue booked, rings bought, deposit paid on dresses (my daughter is giving me away), registrar booked, menu chosen, my auntie is doing the flowers and we're picking up on a thread I read here about giving lottery tickets as favours.
My dress is slightly too small - i I don't loose a few pounds I'll have trouble breathing and won't be able to eat! Plus my daughter tells me I have a 'back cleavage'! Lost a pound last week so looks promising!
Next step is for me to make the invites (really should send them by end of this month) and for my guy to sort his suits (his son is best man). We give notice of marriage 20th May so that's the next big milestone!
We're doing the whole thing for less than £6,000 (and that's with us paying £700 for rooms for parents, us and our children). I know that's still a lot but much less than a lot of people seem to spend these days.
Good luck all and will keep checking in if you don't mind an old lady!

Hi everyone and all the new september recruits:T ,
Well I have had a really hectic week with work and general running around after the kids but that has destroyed my diet as I have been grabbing bits while I have been on the go (chocolate, ben and jerrys icecreams oops:o ), I am not going to weigh myself til next week but think I may have blown it.
That aside, as you may of read on the other thread I got my dress from China last week at last woo hoo:j :j , and it has turned up really nice and just needs some altering which is fine and I need a new petticoat. Also got my two bridesmaids and my bouquet finished over the weekend, so they are now put away. Feel like I have so much to do but don't know where to start, anyone else like that?
