September Weddings

Fingers all crossed for the september gang and obviously for all the brides to be!!!
We are booked and hopefully sorted, catering, dj, venue, church, (however my vicar has been having an affair with his rector and has absconded from the parish...drama drama) got the rings this week which are beautiful and have handmade all the invites to be sent out in the next 3-4 weeks.
Bridesmaids sorted, ushers sorted....
Am sure i have forgotton something...Oh yeah, me!!!
GOT NO DRESS YET!!!!!
AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH...
I will get there eventuallyis it me or are we all to busy sorting everyone else out that we as the brides have got a bit left behind??

Been working away for the weekend so got a little behind but back now and updated the list.

What a coincidence that we're getting married not just on the same day but at the same time too Lemon Tree! And how are you doing count rostov? Have you managed to book something yet? Don't worry about being relaxed about it, as long as you're not too fussy you can arrange lots of stuff last minute lol.

And princess, I only got my dress about a week ago so I wouldn't worry too much, they said I could of left it as late as the last week of April before it would be classed as a rush order, but I ended up getting an ex-display one anyway so the only thing I need to wait for is for it to be cleaned!

Right, we've booked a venue (a youth hostel! It's very beautiful though, and means we can put everyone up for free as all my husband-to-be's friends and family will have to drive/fly 800 miles) and have arranged it with our minister so we're getting married on the 20th September at 4pm. Now we just need to whittle down our guest list...our dream team was 200...far too much.

The youth hostel is a great idea, We've got people travelling to ours but Liverpool and Manchester are the furthest so not quite 800 miles lol.

Thanks krystaltips! Sept 6th was one of the only dates left when we booked over a year ago! and the only time left was 11am, so i'll be getting up early!

i would have been the 6th too but only available time was 4.00pm and i want it to be able to celebrate all day, i don't want to be hanging around waiting for it to happen, i've waited long enough :j

wow there is quite a growing bunch of us now, I'm all alone on the 18th, I don't mind though, we did'nt really want a weekend as everything was twice as expensive and we are only having a small wedding.

Has anyone got there dress yet, cant wait to get mine.

im all alone on the 12th too ! we are only having a small wedding too so decided on a friday, i have my dress and pretty much sorted except for balloons and flowers thanks to all tips on here !
