So i have £30 through Quidco come summertime when it will be paid out. Plus i also have 5 chances of a winner in the National tomorrow.
Thanks Martin
I was just coming on to say this word for word!:money:
MSE GBBO 2015 - Go Alvin!0 -

Help, been on the website but I can't find the button where I place a 'place bet' (EW bet). I've managed to find where to place a 'to win' bet. Please can someone help?

I've registered with Betfair with a tenner yesterday (I thought they said that's the minimum) then I put in Martin's code and tried to place bets to the value of £25 but says I haven't got enough to play with. Eh? Do I have to put in £25 of my own dosh first then top it up with the £25 code from Martin?0

Yes. Use your own money and then the £25 should be credited to your betting account. I know the thread is very long, but this has been discussed at length already. The tenner is the quidco minimum that you must deposit and wager to get the £30 cashback - a separate issue from the betfair free £25 bet.
Can someone please explain why when I select a horse to back I can then change the odds. Like Cloudy Lane is showing as 6-1 ish currently, but I can click the up arrow to make the odds increase to whatever. Obviously I prefer to back the favourite at 50-1, but I can't see this being possible. Why does it let you do that?0 -

Yes. You have to deposit £25 of your own money and then you get an extra £25 from betfair AFTER you have spent your original £25
Read the first post by Martin again. He explains it very well.0 -

Go to Horse Racing tab
Select GB
Select Aintree 5th April
Then you get choices of either the 16.15 to win or to be placed.0 -

by changing the odds you are putting up a request to be layed at that price, Remember you are betting against other people in Betfair
If you think Cloudy Lane wasn't good value at 6-1, but would be happy to bet on it at 8-1, you could put up a request at 8-1 in the hope that the horses price drifts and you get matched. But in a market like this you may never get that bet matched (certainly not if you put 50-1 up!)
Unfortunately, whilst this seems a good offer - Betfair really isn't for beginners as it takes a little time to understand some of the concepts0
