Like Cloudy Lane is showing as 6-1 ish currently, but I can click the up arrow to make the odds increase to whatever. Obviously I prefer to back the favourite at 50-1, but I can't see this being possible. Why does it let you do that?
You can select your own odds but your bet won't be completed until someone comes along and honours your price, but because many people are buying at the shorter odds, this might not happen for a while (if at all)
It's like going into a shop and picking up a DVD that is priced at £10 and keep saying 'I'll offer you £5'... noone will sell you the DVD for £5, because other people are buying at £10, until the market price of the DVD drops to that level0 -
Thanks again Martin, what a fantastic tip. I have my £25.00 back in my Betfair account, :money: £30.00 tracked with Quidco and an interest in the race with 5 horses bet on. I managed very easily to work out how to bet and used the code Betfair gave.
Thanks again you are a star.:j0 -
Deposited £25 yesterday evening and placed 10 bets! Quidco tracked immediately. Checked Betfair this morning and the free £25 refunded to Betfair account. I have now transferred this back to my bank account , which they say you should allow 3-5 working days for the funds to appear in your account / card.0

Quidco's tracked £50.00 for me, yet it says on the sign up page £300

Thanks stanleyunwin and mathsguy for explaining that. I thought it might be something to do with matching bets. Just like to try to get my head around it.
What is the general consensus about whether it is better to take the price now or the starting price.0 -
OH likes to dabble in a little (well controlled )betting.
I joined up to betfair so he could bet on the National, but he went onto auto pilot and put the bet on an accumulator for football, which isn't what is required !!DOH!!Fortunately I have just checked and quidco has tracked so am happy now.0 -
Ok, I signed up for betfair yesterday via quidco.
Have today transfered £35 and bet £10 in order to get the £30 via Quidco. Also bet £25 in order to get the £25 free bet from Betfair.
