so what is Coolagreen saying?
I don't know, but please don't start to worry until at least tomorrow evening!
If you registered using either of the 2 promo codes, deposited and then bet £25 on the national, then all will be fine. Your £25 will get back to your account.Your = belongs to you

I signed up with betfair through quidco last night but I had to send proof of ID as I used an Electron card. I emailed a photo of my driving licence and got verified this evening. If I log back into Betfair via Quidco does any one know if I can still get the £25 Quidco earnings by depositing and betting a tenner or does the bet need to be placed during the same session as the initial sign up? Sorry if it's a stupid question..just a bit confused by it
and don't wanna waste a tenner if I have no chance of getting the Quidco money. Cheers.

good old Comply or Die - am £250 richer + £30 through quidco - don't think I'll get my £25 back as well as the account went through with the quidco code, my first bet ever - and my last unless a free one comes up of course.
Huge thanks to Martin.:T
you should get your £25 back - I would have said between Quidco and free bet/refund the Quidco was the riskier. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Thank you Martin ... £53 winnings from Comply or Die ...
Sadness for poor McKelvey who did not return to his box tonight ... :^(

I've not used Quidco before, but decided to give it a go today as I'd decided to take advantage of the Betfair offer!!!
Glad I did - won £40.30 on the National + £30 from Quidco. Just waiting to see if the £25 from Betfair is credited also. I used the BFB425 code.
Thanks Martin - you are a **STAR** :kisses:0 -
Well i won £23 i think will give it a day or so to see if the £25 comes back, not panicking too much right now as i guess they maybe busy0

Which code did you use? If it was not the specific Grand National code you should be able to get your £25 free anyway by betting on another event. The best thing to do is to contact Betfair and explain the situation and ask if you are entitled to a £25 free bet. They had several promos running today so don't give up hope. Also, if it was because they suspended your account pending ID that made it impossible to bet on the race and you provided the ID in time, you could argue it was their fault and they should compensate you with a free bet on something else. They are usually reasonable so give it a try.
When you go back and deposit and bet, do it via the Quidco link just to give it the best possible chance of tracking. If it tracks ok there shouldn't be a problem with placing the bet in a different session from the signup.0 -
Thanks Cornerclose - I signed up via a Grand National link on Quidco's website which was (at that time) offering £50 cashback...obviously that offers now gone and it's down to £25 cashback so just unsure whether I'll get anything now if I place a bet..guess I will have to give them a call!0

A couple of people have asked if the £25 goes back to the bank or appears in your Betfair account. It will appear in your Betfair account and you can withdraw it. Don't worry if it takes a while - Betfair will have loads of these to deal with. Whether you have recieved it already or not probably depends on which code you used and whether you bet at the available odds or at SP. As long as you have followed the procedure correctly you should get your £25 refund eventually.0
