So has this wetted anyone's appetite for matched betting?

Yes as I can get good odds for the Masters on there. I only bet on National and Golf Majors and it looks good. BUT if a good cashback scheme comes up then I will open an account purely for that :D.

  • Just got my 25 cashback, check you Betfair Account now. :)
  • My £25 went straight back into my account as soon as the race was over but had to wait a while for the winnings to go on (£55.00 - hurrah!). Drawing it out was a bit complicated as I had to take the £25 back onto my debit card and have opted to take the rest in a bank transfer, which will take 3 days (the "next day" transfer was going to cost me money!) I'm a pretty cautious person and wouldn't have dared go for this if it hadn't featured on this site. Sorry to hear some people have had problems. Hope they get sorted eventually.

For people who didn't receive the 25 pounds cashback...

If I am not mistaken, there is one T&C saying that you can ONLY bet your 25 on ONE, OR 5 ON FIVE horses...

Correct me if I am wrong :o
I am one of those who didn't received the cashback :embarasse

    My first post. :D:D

Yes, that's what I took it to mean.

I did 5 bets of £5 each and the £25 came straight back.

I have to say I nearly gave up at the start as I found placing the bets very complicated... I'm not a gambler by any means but feel better all the same that I've already drawn the money out ... saves me being tempted to put it back on. My £55 profit might just make up for what my husband's lost at the course .... or maybe not ... :T

    Just got my £25 back...Did a £20 and a £7 (had to verify age...)
(if only i'd done them the other way round *sigh*)

Anyway, it seems it didn't matter how you broke the £25 up...

Still no sign of the quidco being verified though...am i being stupid about this? It just says tracking then £30 underneath - should the £30 move to the verified bit at some point, or what?

(I used the code in the OP btw..)

My betfair account now showing £77.02, made up of winnings and £25 paid back in. Quidco showing as £30 tracked but not validated as yet. Never used quidco before so not quite sure what to expect. Upto now without the quidco I am already £52.02 better off :T

Downside, still cant withdraw cash as it is still saying I need to verify my age
  • :j Yay, woke up this morning to find the £25 had appeared in my account, plus my £58 ish winnings, plus my £30 Quidco (plus the phantom £50 in quidco for which I have no understanding) givign a total of £88 profit (or £138 if they also give me the £50, which I doubt :rotfl:).

Thanks Martin, and everyone else who offered some much needed advice.
