Research, check the website it states So it doesn't unlock the phone it unlocks the network bar on the phone which is what this is all about and does very effectively!

    :D

    Read your title !

    Ericsson - Samsung unlocked.

With this device you are not unlocking the phone. So once again do some research before you post claims which you cannot backup.

Putting a sim into test mode maybe your idea of unlocking but to the vast majority it is not and to claim otherwise is nonesense.

Arguing for the sake of arguing....

So the site description was wrong, its been discussed and nailed down to a bypass of the network lock and it DOESNT unlock the handset... So shere1, do you want to continue banging on about the rights and wrongs? :rotfl:

Jay, be honest for years there's been no profit unlocking Nokia with the advent of DCT3/4 Cal's so course you wouldn't be worried about profit. Ive been in this game for years and thought it was about time people got the opportunity to have a cheap "NETWORK BAR BYPASS" unlocking alternative. Its the ridicule the device received that makes me think unlockers would sooner sell a similar product at an inflated price or keep the customer base flowing too pay for the Centurion Multi Clip, SHU-BOX etc etc......

Much like what rogerramjet said he has no intention of updating the firmware so this £4 device has saved him a fortune! If the phone manufacturers realease "firmware with the hole filled" how long before that's circumvented? And with the firmware updatable version on the way.......
