PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Well a tiny forum which I occasionally post on has around 6 people who regularly post, and for some reason it's recently been having 60 to 70 people or more... and it's nothing to do with HPC!!
House prices may seem to be dropping
But who knows if this trend will be stopping
There's no crystal ball
To predict any fall
So stop scaremongering and get back to your shopping.
How on earth did I get an A* at GSCE English language???Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I for one am spening more time here and less on the property portals....I'm finally being surre to keep up to dat ith amking ou finances work better, and of course, I'm so desperate to have a house I have to keep putting myself off by scaring myself silly with what could happen if we do.
I'm also amazed by some of the posts here, and I have to admit some of the more, er, vehement ones, are quite shockingly entertaining (I don't watch much tv
