There was a young flipper called dooz
Who used to buy houses in twos
    The economy turned
    Her fingers got burned
And now she takes comfort in booze

That is my favourite. Who doesn't love Dooz?

Here's my effort - I was so impressed by some of the entries above, that I'm thinking of campaigning for verse to be required for all posts on the Housing Forum.... :D

Might put some off those property 'investors' who can't even spell...;)

    So here goes:

When some started to talk of a "Crash",
Certain landlords cried "Bring out the lash!
    If the rumour gets out,
I might end up with nowt,
And instead have to work for my cash!"

    ;)

    Here's another; I'm on a roll:

The bulls and the bears had a fight
About whether the house prices might
    Face an almighty crash
Which the bulls said was trash
But then they always did talk *****.

    Or, for the family ending:

But guess which one the facts will prove right?

    :)
