My laptop still hasn't arrived!! Will that mean I can't complete the cashback on time??
All I need is the serial number!!!!
Help, as the 7days is up on Sunday
Have you looked at the status of your order? Has it been dispatched. You could give them a ring tomorrow, they may be able to give you the serial no on the phone if they have allocated a laptop to you.
Good Luck0 -
The price of Laptops will tumble over the next few weeks.Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j

Good Luck
I tried this prior to posting, the item was "in picking" and they were unable to give me the serial number. So I've wrote a long email to microdirect to explain the situation.0 -
i was wondering about refurbs from the dixons group. i was thinking of getting on cus their cheap, but they dont give info on the refurb. nothing about marks, scratches or age. when i called them the dude on the phone had no idea about its condition either. on one of their sites it mentions most are returns ect, but cant be sure this one is.
are they reliable refurbs? can i get a refund if i just dont like the product they give? so if it doesnt meet my expectations.
sorry if people have asked and answered these questions but couldnt find searching.0 -
I brought a refub from dixons at few weeks ago (Advent 9415) for £199. It was like new. No marks on it at all. All you get is the laptop, battery and power supply. No manuals etc. All information is available from thier techguys website. You still get a 1 year warrenty.
I even order another refub yesterday (advent 9515)for my son this time I got it for £194.0 -
ok thanks, are the advents they give good? i am looking at the 9915w which has better specs than an acer there but is £33 cheaper :S
think il get it tho if its ok condition.. been weeks since my last laptop died0 -

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but if you're feeling brave and happy to move away from using Windows XP and use the Linux distro Ubuntu (which is pretty easy to use in the main) you can get a Dell InspironIntel® Celeron Processor 550 (2.0Ghz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 cache) - N-Series for £299 delivered from www.dell.co.uk/ubuntu or upgrade to a Dual Core for £329. I've been using Dell laptops for 10 years and never had a problem but managed to go through 4 IBM Thinkpads within 2 years!
Edit - Plus I think there's a link from Quidco which will give you an additional 4% back!0 -
