Slowlyfading, you may now join the ranks of 'we're scared, frugalling is much more expensive that we first thought' gang, welcome to the club. I'm getting scared to even look at the longterm forecast but cheers for saying what a lot of us [strike]are[/strike] may be thinking  :rotfl:Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Just about to catch up on the thread. Posted a long thread yesterday and my internet connection went off just as I clicked the ' submit reply' button  .
Bad news first: Totalled my monthly spend and its higher than the last three months combinedAt £1176.58.
Of this £636 was for my holiday (special one this year- explained in previous thread), just over £100 for a mattress and travel insurance.
So I guess subtracting these things it wouldn't be much higher than usual. Howver I am dtermined to include everything minus communiting, union and council tax to get a realistic picture.
Got that of my chest. Off to enjoy the thread now
On the good side I have been inspired by the gardeners on here and potted up peppers and basil this week.:A0 -

Ha ha, I don't know Taka, good question! Marru is as crazy about animals as you would expect and lovely. Don't know anything about the Glasgow meet. I met my first MSEr a few weeks back and she was lovely too, and we're having a meet on LW thread (if I ever get round to organising it
). Has anyone else met anyone?

Thank you everybody and especially Bails - her visit was as nice birthday present as I imagined it to be,
rushing off to get DD from nursery but will be back later.
