wendywitch I did find a lot of stuff on ebay but its the postage thats the killer. I will have to look in Wilkinsons and see if they have any seeds.
I have found a bit of fabric with fairies on so will look for a matching fabric now.
I made my sister a quillow and she uses it when she has a nap in the afternoon.

Hi mumzy I have been around but have not had time to make a proper long post and didn't want to say hi and then log off. Had a few days when the site just either kept logging me off or else waiting till I had written a long reply and then wiping it out:mad: It all got a bit frustrating so I stuck to reading everyone elses posts when I got time.
Got a lot of personal stuff going on at the moment which is taking up a lot of my time and energy and have had to put some things on hold whilst I give support to family members.:grouphug: hugs to everyone else who is dealing with family issues/ illness and other stressful stuff at the moment.
Nyk sounds like you had a great trip to Isle of man:D .
Whitewing - hope you come to a solution about the wedding plans:rolleyes:
mumzy- The reason you probably feel you have no cash spare is that if I remember right you were paying a large proportion of your income on private rent. You would be much better off paying council or Housing association rents which would free up more income for you. It is good that you are getting advice from a support worker:D
Hello Sophiesmum and welcome back
Im glad you are okay and i hope your family are all okay also ((HUGS))
Yes i pay near enough £200 towards my rent a month and this is where all my money goes..but about 3 year waiting list for a council house  So not that impressed with that but now going to try and get a grant which will be given to me each month to help me with topping up my rent :T But only thing with this is they only pay it for 12 weeks in a year

Mumzy - the little icon at top of your posts is because there's an icon ticked in the 'title' box when you are submiting your posts. I've added a smiley above this one so you can see what I mean. It's when you are responding using the 'advanced' option. Scroll down a little when previewing or before you send and you'll see the title icons. On the tomato front, the growbags take either 2 or 3 plants each but are very messy if you are considering having them indoors. The plants need tied up and can grow to over a meter high, so they need a lot of space and protection from wind & rain. As you get your fruit & veg with your vouchers, I'm afraid there may not be any financial benefits to your forking out extra money.
Redglass - I'd heard about the tomato/tobacco virus issues and Googled it to find out more. Thanks for reminding me about it and I'll make sure no smokers get their hands on my tomatoes, that's for sure.
Frizzel - If you have been including something in your budget that shouldn't be there then just check back April and May to deduct them from your totals and then update from there. Good news and I'm really pleased it's freeing up cash for the tumble driver. Out of interest, a friend had same scenario with her eldest son and she was advised on similar basics - food, fabrics, chemicals to avoid - and she found Calendula to be helpful for soothing the itches on his ankles. I am almost positive that chocolate had something to do with it, as well, although this is just a vague recollection and not meant as any sort of medical information :rotfl:
Janey, I laughed at the fairy liquid suggestion too! I would go with that plan as an extra 'bonus' gift, even if it's a sample sized pack or a money off voucher. If I find the 50p off e-voucher, I'll post you the link.

Hi Mumzy, my DGD (age 3) loves the garden and seeing things grow. A week or 2 ago I told her if she ate up all her apple at lunchtime, we would plant the pips. We planted about half a dozen and today, she just realised that 2 'baby seeds' had sprouted and are now 'baby apple trees'. I told her we'd keep them and see if apples grew one day, same as the big tree, so she could climb up and pick them. Only problem I have is that DGD now drives her mum daft telling her they need a new house with a garden and a pond! :rotfl:
Janey - I was just on Topcashback browsing for a few extra pennies when I spotted the 'ANGEL' word! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: This will also interest all our frugal veggie growers who, like me, think they have a serious slug or snail problem and it kind of puts things into perspective; I've copied & pasted the following:
Buy a Sack of Piri Piri Chillies to keep the Elephants at Bay
Prevent food shortages in Guludo, by enabling farmers to protect their crops against elephants. Every year elephants trample the farmers fields destroying their crops in this extremely poor area of Mozambique where we are partnering with NEMA to feed 300 children a day in a new school.
To find out more about the NEMA project go to the Feed A Child For A Year pages under Projects.
Be an Angel and buy a sack of chillies for a farming family to put on their gardens and you will empower them to feed themselves.
The Global Angels Promise applies.
Price £10.00
ELEPHANTS!!!   How much beer would they consume before flipping over and having to be disposed of afterwards? I wonder if chillies would work for snails?I reserve the right not to spend.

PS what are the Mr M's spend and save vouchers? Mr M is my local shop but I've never heard of these. How do you get them - are they the same as the petrol vouchers?
They are coupons/vouchers that were in the Sun newspaper 2 weeks ago giving £5 off a £30 shop for the next 6 weeks.
Looks like I'll be using mine in Mr T's again this week.Credit Card Debt
