    Hi again,

I must say that I haven't laughed this much since Janey was at her best form. Today every time I have logged in here I have been in stitches.

I meant to say earlier that I think Whitewing has it all sorted. I got a proposition and engagement ring but the wedding never materialised - now I know what went wrong thanks to Whitewing. What comes to being fussy I thought we agreed on the Irish vet. (I am dreading that an Irish vet is lurking on this thread and sees this :o)

Redglass - I nominate you as a Miss Marple of frugalists. Sorry to hear about what happened in the college but on the other hand it will give more preparation time. Pehaps it is not a curse and is blessing instead :D.

It is a NSD for me and I will get all the newspaper I need for my piggies in the future from DD's nursery. :T

Oh dear - better stop giggling now and carry on...

Edited: Mumzy we were posting same time, sorry to hear about your migrane I hope the tablets will help you. I know it is difficult to have a rest in a dark room with two little ones.

    ahhhhhhhhhhh

i had a nice, stress-free day after 'sandwichgate' yesterday - the girls on my course (9 teenagers) had a a huuuuge fight which started over literally NOTHING -

girl - "urgh, this egg mayonaise is frozen!"
me - "is it? oh, it must have been right up at the back of the fridge. Here is another tub"

................how that turns into world war 3 is beyond me

but today they were all friends again, we were at a big conference and separated into different groups and one of the tasks was to draw round someone and make a big poster about positive things women can do to progress their lives, then present it to everyone, and one of the groups which had a few of my girls in it did a person to look like me, with 'Jumble-Bee' written at the top :happyhear

except of course, that my name is not actually jumble-bee

plus i got free lunch, which is always good

Flippin' eck. So much stuff's been going on over the last 2 days!! Bails - those kittens....gorgeous :) I badly want another kitten but my kits would be offended (I call them kits (just kits, not 'kittens' even though they are 8 lol...erm. Anyway). My mind is boggled and bamboozled by all the activity (plus I got woken at 4.30 am by Noggin kit who had very kindly brought me a mouse - lovely of him, don't u think?. After sorting that out I was a bit too hyper to sleep..so i've been up since then, was listing books on Ebid at 5.30 lol, then been to work...and was planning on staying up for the start of the bingo..but...I'm not sure about that now!
    Can't remember most of what I just read so, here are my replies;

    Really? Wow!
A breadmaker? That's magic! I think it was a leprechaun.
    Well done!
    Good luck!
    I don't think so either.
    With a melon? Sideways?
    Yes.
    No.
    Maybe*

    Have a great evening all!
    Thank you and goodnight.

  • Evening All!!

I'm meant to be writing my research project but just thought I'd say a quick hello here first. Hope everyones had a good day. I paid the water bill, so everything is now up to date (i will update figures at the end of the month) A part from the water bill I had a NSD :j . Took DS1 and DS2 to the park after school which was lovely free entertainment for us all and had a generally relaxing evening until now as I really must do this research project (no sleep for me tonight) Hope you all have a good evening.

    BINGO!!!!!!!!!

OK, that's me done screaming and should really go and start getting those tickets. I'm looking like a lobster again, went back into garden after DGD went home and stayed out there until 7pm - then remembered we really should eat something! :o I now have 2 rows of carrots next to the onions and we dug out a special corner for DGD. It's all marked out with canes and netting and has carrots and lettuce planted in it plus it has a 'bootiful wurrim' making his house in it.

Next, my EXCELLENT news... I EVENTUALLY WON AN AUCTION FOR A GREENHOUSE! :j :j :j I bid on loads and loads, all shapes and sizes and kept getting outbid then tonight, low and behold, I won a brand new 10' x 6' plastic one for £45 inc P&P I'm only hoping that the one remaining bid I have left (I had bid on loads and loads of them) doesn't win!! I can't wait to get my new greenhouse and hope we get some more good weather next week so we can get it built and the tomatoes & peppers moved into it! :D

Off to claim some free bingo tickets now, see you all in the stables sometime over the next 24 hours :)
