Just popping in to say thanks to those of you who joined in the insanity that is free bingo Thursday in the stables. Thank goodness spring meadows sells cheap tissues! (Still getting the giggles!!)

I won the grand total of ZERO but it's the best laugh I get all week :rotfl: :T

Just to say...thanks for the bingo malarkey, really made me laugh (while I was there!) - as you may have noticed I disappeared..tho at least I said goodbye early in case. lol.

Sounds like all the bingo peeps had a fun night:p

Not much happening here today. Will be cooking tea for my oldies later so eating for free again tonight:D They have put in a special request for chips so will be making chicken and ham pie , chips and veggies, with apple crumble and ice cream for afters.
None of them cook chips as the fire alarm is so sensitive here it always end up going off:eek:

Morning everyone and a big congratulations to SlowlyFading for handing in your dissertation :T I remember that feeling well OH is handing in his final project today, woo hoo! Almost free from uni after 5 years and ready to start supporting me, yeah right! :rotfl:
Hmm, can I ask a question please? I had a letter redirected to me from several addresses ago which says I owe A&L £353.80 :mad: before admin or overdraft fees :mad: I did open an account with them once with the 10% savings account but never used it so how is this possible? Shall I ignore it ie will it go away as they don't have my current details or do I need to contact them? If this isn't the right place to ask, could someone suggest where I do - obviously this is a little worrying, especially if I have to pay it!! Thanks peeps.
Despite this, I still plan to go to the new charity shop today and see if I can get any bargains - OH bought a bag yesterday for 50p, not JumbleBee's amazing prices but certainly cheaper than a normal charity shop by the sounds of it :j

Rathga - if you really can'tr bear the lack of posh coffee how about popping into poundstretcher/instore they sell the posh coff in cups that you just add boiling water to they do hot choc as well its 99p for 10 if your worried about keeping up with the rest of your colleagues you could share....maybe deep down secretly they are intimidated with the keeping up with the jones

Nyk love the piccy i too have a cheep cheep hobby my £5 month rspb membership is my only treat and thats for the 4 of us ..............tell me more about the interest beater challenge is it a seperate thread (there are so many)or just something your doing alone also where do you buy penny shares?

Lol well what I do, which does take a while, is that i quote one person, and it takes you to the reply bit, and i highlight it and cut, and then i go back and quote the next person, and then paste the last one, so its on the same thread. do you get me?
