New worcester 37 cdi - HELP SET MY MIND AT EASE!
Comments

Hi all, had worcester out(no probs re no room-stat!) and he noticed a few minor radiator leaks(no wet floors though!) and changed the auto-bypass setting.
Installer been back and fixed leaks and it all seems quieter and more inhibitor put in.
I still hear a few radiators hissing when a few are off but turning down the TRV sorts it. Is just because all the water is flowing to the few not warmed up!?
Could my boiler heat setting be up too hight and radiators too low or something?? Currently boiler at 3.5 and hot at E. Trv's at 3 mainly.0 -
Good morning: Consult your 'User Instructions and Customer Care Guide' (if you don't have one http://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/installer/products/gas-fired-boilers-and-systems/greenstar-37cdi/literature ) Odd that the WB engineer didn't recommend a roomstat as page 10 in the aforementioned guide states one 'should be fitted'
Guess I can't appreciate why a customer doesn't take full advantage of the energy efficiency/controllability offered by a programmable roomstat especially for an expensive boiler such as the WB 37CDi or even have a run of the mill room stat....false economy. My OH always quotes for 'Best Practice' as detailed in the EST guide to specification and installation of gas central heating http://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/uploads/documents/housingbuildings/ce30.pdf
He loses out on occasion to the cowboys and the illegals but so be it...he feels better at the end of the day for promoting 'Best Practice' and following manufacturer's specifications/Building Regulations.

Hi does anyone out there have any idea why my new boiler wont work properly?
I have power but the temp display just goes up and up really quik when I turn on a hot water tap. The temp gage eventually reads E9 and then U9 (109 degrees).
Also, althought the CH is in the on position, it doesn't come on.
Please help.
Thank you in advance.:A0
