Called telephone banking tonight - £80 refund now in my account.
:T That's great news. I'm still waiting for my £9 refund. I can't EVER get through to them on the phone, I'm always on hold. I tried the number you posted earlier at 10.30am "hello, the mychild office is now closed, please call back between 10am and 4pm...please leave a message". Last time I checked 10.30am WAS between these hours. Have I been misinformed all my life? :rotfl: . Anyhoo I left a polite message for them to ring me regarding the discs, still waiting. Well done again :j

If you board the wrong train, it is no use running along the corridor in the other direction.

I just got a call from a woman from My Child to say that I'd been 'shortlisted' in a comp to win CD-roms and did I remember entering it? I said no, I enter lots of comps. She said that they are doing a special promotion about tuition and they can send me some on free trial and all I have to do is send them back after, no mention of money. I STILL said NO THANKS! Warning to everyone they are still about!

Got a call from these the other day too. The lady said I entered a competition for child's maths tuition (I didn't - don't even have kids!) I said 'Er, no..' and she went quiet, said it must have been a mistake and hung up.
    Back to comping!
    (Still hoping to win a...holiday!)

I noticed there was a my child comp on the list ending the 15th.... I skipped past it, learnt my lesson with them.

I got exactly the same phone call today!! Funnily enough, it was from a withheld number but the call was the same except for the fact that they asked me for a payment of £9 which was supposedly refundable!! When I declined I was asked why, to which I politely replied that I wasn't interested in paying for something which I was trying to win for free!!!! Guess that's me out of the comp then :D
If at first you don't succeed ........ ;) Alternative autism therapies should be free!!
