Okay..decided on plan of action..
I will call him and say, after avice from national debtline and council,I will not be letting him enter the premises and am putting down a repayment offer in writing.
Then see what he has to say!
Is this the wrong way to go about things?Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

Starlite !!! Sorry but is this not to late to call him to tell him as unless I am mistaken is he not due at your door at 2pm today ??? you posted at 2.15pm
Good plan though if you still have time to catch him in the office. If not and he is out possible on way to see you slip letter through letter box DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR NOW he may be outside waiting !!!!!! he may have buzzed nother tenants flat to gain entry instead of yours in order to catch you off guard£2.00 savings club =£2.000 -
Well starlite - any joy on the phone?😁0

I have his mobile number..thats what was given on the letter..and no still haven't hard the ring of the bell.
I did say I'd be home around 2pm ish and asked him to call first (though he probably won't in case it gives ,e the opportunity to go out and avoid him)
Yet he isn't answering..hopefully not driving over here as I type!
The main office just told me it is in the hands of the appointed bailiff so no joy with them either..Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

I would say why bother putting your hpone bill up by calling a mobile. If he comes to the door, just explain that he has no right of entry and that you will be putting forward a plan in writing. Then just sit tight and ignore him.
If he harrasses you (verbally or otherwise) and makes you feel frightened, call your neighbour downstairs and ask them to ask him to go away. They won't care about your debt, they won't gossip, or if they do, so what? Millions of people are in trouble for a lot worse!
If he doesn't go after that, call the police and explain to them how scared you are and that you can't go out of your flat because of him.Ken Livingstone is my mother0 -
