I am home alone again. Doesn't happen much but I can get loads more done and chat on here too. pigpen I wish I had photographed things for e bay when you put it on the list. I did have to get PC hard drive wiped and start again from scratch after putting on turbolister. I would like lessons on how to use e bay and make money as I have only ever made losses. I tried finding the relevant bit on MSE but didn't have much success.
I have listed loads more books on amazon though. I like the fact that you don't have to photograph them.
I hope you are feeling better soon chasingbutterfies.
louby-lou I have already got a few things stashed away for Christmas. I missed the post Christmas sales as I wasn't able to get out but I have picked up a few things since. I will have to write them in a book though as I never remember who I bought them for!!

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm here and trying to catch up! Been on over an hour and only on page 10!!!! I will make it.
I have been sooooooooooooo busy. I think I may have posted already this week but, I now have 3 bedrooms!!!! They are finally finished, we painted Tues night when girls were at my sisters. And the door went up last night, only a concertina one but it's up. The girls are really chuffed with their rooms and dd1 puts a chair and baby highchair in the doorway so dd2 can't get in!! bless.
Now looking for kitchens, spooky as the beginning of this thread everyone is talking kitchens. Got a price from kitchen designer £6783! Yeah right!
MFI £4250, better but not quite. B&Q not very helpful staff and very smelly man who spoke to me - that's about all I can say on that.
Going to try homebase and Howdens, who apparantly supply MFI anyway.
Getting very fed up as DH says I can have what I want which is nice, but some input would be good. He said if I wanted the MFI one I could have it, I said 'you're having a laugh, I'm not paying all that' which I'm sure you would all agree with. The kitchen is having quite a few units and includes fitted oven, hob and chimney but I know I can get a better deal somewhere.
Better catch up more, have done flying this week, not loads but more than level 1 but less than level 2 but am pleased so hey ho.
After sorting the girls bedroom - toys, clothes etc found in the garage 2 black sacks of clothes that said - girls clothes 2 big. Went through them and have done 3 loads of washing of stuff which will fit them now and 3/4 black sack to be kept for later!!! I wish I could find a bag of clothes for me!
Anyway, will go catch up more, hope everyone is doing ok, (((((hugs))))) if you need them. Jill - stayed the same this week, ok with that as we did have a couple more takeaways due to the late working in the bedroom (girls not ours!!!!!lol)Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
oh no lol just had a lovely view of the gardeners backside!!!!May Grocery Challenge £254.16/£3200
-
Taffy1969 - did those price include fitting + new appliances? We want to redo our kitchen - just moved into a house which still has its original kitchen (must be 20 years old). OH will be able to fit the units, he does not want to spend more than £2000 for units, new oven, hob, extractor fan and flooring.
Also how long does it take to get the units?0 -

'built for the boys, but not for clothes' I think is the T&S quote :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I live in jeans :rotfl: I buy bootcut ones though (I think thats right, the ones that go in slightly below the knee?) as I don't suit straight cut trousers at all so buying smart ones for teaching could prove interesting. If I wear anything straight I look like a block, I can't wear dresses at all. My bottom half is now a size 18/20 (depending ) and my top is most definitely "built for the boys" at a 20 but shrinking slowly *yanks bra back into position and tries to smooth the rumpled cups out* I nearly fell over when I last got measure for a bra and the woman went "42 G" I'd been wearing 44DD for ages, and even now I have the same problems with this bra riding up at the back, but instead of my "cup flowth over" its now my cup wrinkles up :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm getting really frustrated with Turbolister - the damn thing won't update. If it doesn't work this time then I'm going to have to uninstall it and reinstall it. I WILL get these damn ebay listing done today!:mad::mad:

skintscotslass wrote: »Bananas? Thats a new one on me
We had a good laugh at work one day deciding what shape we all were as per T & S. Whats the difference between an apple, a pumpkin and a melon? :rotfl:
The bananas wear Primark yellow and are that !!!!!! they can't stand up straight and are all kinds of weird shapes!! lol
apples are round.. melons are BIG and round.. and pumpkins are f**king massive and still round!!!!!
By which point we are helplessly rolling about in hysteria!
I wear jeans too.. Joe Browns mainly (just not the skinny ones I have legs like pit props!) but I have a pair of Jasper Conran which fit really nicely. I find high waisted ones comfiest.. they cover my butt which hangs out of low cut ones, but the higer waist ones always are massive on my waist so I need a belt.. but I don't need to undo them to go to the loo!
Recently discovered 'chav pants' ... Lonsdale trackies are so incredibly comfy.. I have a pair of adidas ones as well but htey are a bit 'snug'LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I fixed my problem with Turbolister :j:j For some reason I have to have internet explorer open at the same time
Don't understand fully why (forums on ebay say something about TL needing IE for some things) but it does work and I finally have an up-to-date programme....just need to get on with the listings now :rotfl::rotfl:

jill - i've lost another 1lb!!!
thanks for the advice about the water meter. i'm sure our water rates are over £40 a month so i think it would be cheaper. need to go and check what we pay a month.
i'm going to spend an hour doing accounts and stuff and then i'm going to do the eye toy exercise. guess i'll do my list after that.
dh just phoned and they're not coming back till tomorrow so another day of pleasing myself. i think i'm enjoying it so much because i never get time on my own!!
i've missed the gardeners bum! xx0 -
