    Morning everyone.

Had another great sleep - DD1 gets up at 8.30am at the moment and DD2 is 9-9.30 this week. Pure bliss!!!

DD1 getting into her flygirl duties - she finished her breakfast and got the cloth and wiped the table. I was still eating and had to lift my cereal bowl up so she could clean! What a good girl!:T

Nicki - Well done on DD's bedroom. You did a great job!

SSL - Don't know what its like in Liverpool but here in South Manchester its pretty grey. Hopefully it'll be nicer there.

I'm being good too and started my Xmas shopping in the January sales. So far have got 2 x M&S dressing gowns for MIL and my mum for £9 and £12 (originally £30 and £39), a Bratz doll for DD1 (half price), puzzle for DD2 (3 for 2 on kids toys at M&S so bought 2 pressies & put free one away for her). Not bad going so far I think. Just keep getting things when I see something I think would make a good gift, then write it in my Lakeland seasonal planner so I know what I've got for who.

Right - on with the day - only DD2 dressed so far, (but in need of a clean bum!) and we're going out for lunch with my mum so think I'll get sorted.

Confessions of a Slummy Mummy.... I haven't cleaned this week, I've been too busy eradicating traces of husband and hobbies so my challenge for the day is as follows:

Deal with vicious cockerel now marinading in fridge
phone to change date I've scrounged BBQ for school fete
    Mamoth clean of kitchen
    Mega bathroom clean
Finish washing the entire contents of the coat rack re-homing winter coats
File lots of paperwork in an attempt to locate desk

Empty smallest childs bedroom and start filling in the holes in the wall that I found when I removed the wallpaper 2 years ago.
Remove the 8 or so layers of wallpaper that were hidden behind the radiator.
Paint the walls that haven't already been painted (I'm guaranteed to find I don't quite have enough paint and the colour was discontinues several years ago)

Collect chunks of tree from a friend for next winters log pile
Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.50

DD1 & 2 are still in bed...Might spend most of tomorrow doing the list at this rate!
I've gone through the pile on my bed. I've found some clothes, toys, collectable things and some nike trainers.
Thought I'd stick the summer clothes on and look at collectables and see how well they do. One is a Heat annual 2007 and I've got some badges that were rel;eased in a set for the Sydney Olympics....
Trying to figure out what sells is really hard work!
Oh and I thought I'd give the nikes a wash and stick them on too..
    What do you guys think????

I HATE TURBOLISTER  trying to get organised and it won't let me edit or add anything to upload file. Then when I try to contact them it says I am not online to send the message, so how exactly am I communicating with you all this morning?????

I defragged the computer while I was watching Corrie, and I've given the bathroom and toilet a good clean and washed the floors.

DS keeps trying to ring me but his phone is playing up so I'm up every five minutes for a 30 second conversation! I'm too mean to ring him (it's too dear to ring a mobile) and he's got minutes to spare anyway. Besides I never know when it's convenient for him. Still, at least I know he's alive :)
  • Hi everyone,

Didn't end up getting anything else done last night went all cold and just could not warm up at all and DH promised he hasn't been messing with the thermostat... Feel 'ick :( have managed to move appliances required for lino man (So they are in the middle of the kitchen floor in the way of everything!) Write up both of the pushchairs - although I was hoping for a sunny day to take pics outside but weather is not co-operating. In fact it is grey and has just about stopped raining but no sign of it drying up yet... Only a couple of "bundles" of stuff left to take pics of and write up so should manage that if/when lo has a nap. Food not arriving until 12-2 and I am starving but don't fancy anything that is in - I want toast and jam! Need to speak to DH but the insurance inspector is visiting today so need to wait until he phones me. It is a "in limbo" day - I need to wait for other people before I can get anything done - and as you can see is driving me up the wall!

    *paddy over*

Bedroom needs to wait until the kids are in bed as there are bits in there I don't want them to get their hands on until all the right bits are together... so... Since they are playing nicely together, in the playroom, which is still tidy (can't remember the last time I used those words all together!) I guess I should sort their bedrooms.

tia - I hope you are feeling better today.
SSL - Glad the magic stuff worked! & have a great time away.
nicki - You have done a great job there with DD's room! a downside I found with curtains on beds is that my lot can "tidy" quite a lot behind them

ok spoke too soon off to play peacekeeper!
