Tip for cupboard tops ....line the top with wallpaper [ get cheap £1 roll of discontinued from B & Q] or newspaper and ever so often, remove it and replace with new

might seem gross but who sees your cupboard tops?

It hasn't made mine perfect but the more often I do it the cleaner it appears to be getting.. ours had really bad limescale from a leaking tap which has gone and marks under the bathmat which are fading and rust marks from fitting the new taps which has gone too. I decided whatever I did I couldn't make it worse!

Toothpaste does a grand job too.. I bought really cheap stuff.. pasted it on andleft it overnight then scrubbed it off.

have you tried those magic erasers - aldi sell them every so often and poundland sell the flash ones. they are fab and seem to erase marks off anything - so much so perhaps you should wear gloves to use:eek:

    Morning all

Slept really heavily and had the wierdest of dreams. Am still only half awake now. It's absolutely chucking it down with rain as well. I don't want to go to work. I just want to curl up in my bed and sleep.

But, I'm a professional, I can't do that. So I'll just have to muddle through. Have a meeting almost straight after work today which I hope won't last too long. Then I'll think about the flying.

 buster is awake - in fact, I realise I forgot to switch him off yesterday so he's been on all night! Let me know if the snapshot stuff is successful Mudbath

    Have a good day ladies

    Morning All

We had a slight change to plan last night as DH came home and went off to work at 3.30 this morning. However, he has taken DS with him so I've just got DD at home today so hopefully she'll help me to get some jobs done! The only thing is - a bit like your DD, Nicki - she wants to be entertained all the time - she'll decide she's bored at 7am!

Don't think we're going out today apart from DD having her haircut at 1.45. It's absolutely chucking it down here as well Soappie and the kids have left their bikes outside but I'm not going out to put them away - they're already soaked.

Hope everyone has a good day

I am knackered, went to bed at a reasonable time for me, W was in with me to save the night time waking. So we all slept all night but this morning I am so tired, might drop the kids at school and go back to bed!
