LOL, I know, I'm so common!! But I cant drink wine anymore. Since my medication was increased, it just knocks me out. But I can drink cider/vodka etc all day and night. might go right back to the 80s and treat myself to some babysham. Mmmmm, cider and babysham. You can take the girl out of the 80s.....

    Evening all

I finally caught up flying over the weekend (so four more Platies in the aquarium), but have already slipped this week as I was very late home from work. DH had made dinner then dashed out to cadet thingy. I checked my emails and had one from someone who has been a penfriend/email friend for about 6 years. She had out her phone number in and asked me to give her a call, as she had lots to tell me, including the reason why I hadn't had a Christmas card. Bless. Her DH had passed away following oesophageal cancer last year, aged 58. One hour later I got off the phone to find a missed call from my friend in Scotland so I called her. She was just checking it was still OK for her and hubby to come for the week next week. I haven't seen her for 2 years, so what do you think? Yeah!

I wa sjust going to give the phone to DS to call his GF when it rang - my work colleague to confirm what we're doing tomorrow! So, this is me catching up, or not, on the thread. Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one, and I'll maybe be around a bit more tomorrow pm.

  • Hi guys,

The garage is looking great (well as much as they can) there is floor, shelves with stuff on in something resembling order... Although there was too much junk/moused stuff to fit in DH's car in one go - need to remind him to empty it tomorrow and the garage will be finished :j

Just defrosting some soup - (cheats) baugettes cooked and once we have eaten I can go up and finish the hhc I started earlier :rotfl: So far 1 tub of small fiddly bits of junk homed, one bag to toys to deposit somewhere, more carpet found and WM on.

If I get carried away I suppose I could level 1 the kitchen and sweep the floor :o

Is the Dining Room tagged on to another day now or is that Tuesday?

    (soappie)

ok really need food now! catch you all later x

    Either that or Blair Drummond.

I used to go out with a Tiger keeper from Blair Drummond in my misspent youth when I lived in Stirling!:rotfl:

There is free rein tomorrow to do another room.. so if you have a separate dining room you can do it then.. I think most have kitchen/diner so if they are separate they incorporate the dining room in with kitchen day

    Miffed off!

Hubby said at about 9 he was going to shop then I found him at 10 in the front room hiding.. I thought he'd been a while

DS1 came in shouting his mouth off then poured cooking oil all over my clean cooker and kitchen floor..

I asked hubby to help sort the ebay mountains but he is 'thinking of going to bed'.. so I am doing it on my own like I do every f**king thing else.. so I am not best pleased!
