Jill.. Have you tried wet wrapping???? A large gloob of vaseline or better still aqueous cream (dirt cheap at the chemist.. or free on script ;) ) and wrapped up with bandages.. same as you'd do for eczema. Or you could do what I did.. get a sharp craft knife, a pair of nail clippers and chop it all off down to raw flesh... Oh.. and an emery board to file off all the remaining bits!!! Yes I am a bit sick like that.. I did refrain from eating the bits of chopped off flesh though!!

Have a fab time MOJ2 xx
  • Jill - go and see a chiropodist. If you see an NHS one, it should be around £20 I think. I have got some lovely foot creams, but if vaseline hasnt got rid then I think you need professional help. Either that or pigpens suggestion

  • Time for me to head off as well I think

    Night night xx
  • Thanks Pigpen, sorry - my brain was not working I was sure there was a DR day but I couldn't remember if it was kitchen or study day :o I forgot I had been picking and choosing as it suited since you can eat or play with 'puter

Ok I am offically pooped - and my back is killing me which I didn't notice until I stopped to eat. So bed for me and hopefully I can sleep tonight. I want cake but can't do the whole warming it up thing so time to shuffle off...

Then tomorrow I can kick on (since I have loads of energy?!) and sort these bloomin' rooms out. Kitchen, Playroom, Bathroom and Finish Garage I must not slope off to the shops to get birthday cards for DH, or pressies or anything else that could be taken as me hiding from the house

Pigpen - just take [STRIKE]5 things[/STRIKE] 1 thing out of your box/laundry basket/whatever at a time. (hugs) it is a PITA when you want to but don't have the will. I have a whole bunch of half finished listing sitting in TL that I just need to finish... the thought of a new washing machine that doesn't sound like it is about to take off and fly accross the room is not doing it for me :o

    night

Crikey - you lot could natter for England!! I can't keep up!!

Am posting while at work (shhh) so it has to be quick.

Yesterday all I got done was:
Clear and wipe work surfaces DONE
Clean hob if you must.. *rolls eyes* WIPED
Put clean sheets on beds KIDS DID THEIRS - I DID MINE
    Weekly Menu DONE
    Grocery List DONE
    Grocery Shopping DONE

Called OH home in a fit yesterday afternoon - the section next to us is getting built on and there were trucks blocking our drive way and trucks parked on our concrete! Few choice words uttered by me, then I called OH.

In the evening - we had visitors for half of it and the last half was spent doing end of month accounts. Consequently hardly any Killer Kitchen work done. Most frustrating.

Pigpen & lil_me - sorry about your OH frustrations.
Jill - Hope you get your heels sorted - mine have small cracks and need some attention too.

Thanks also to those who contacted me regarding Freecycle - will hopefully follow through in a week or two.

31st March is end of financial year for us - so stuff to do with that will be on my list for the next month probably.

    Tuesday:
    Walk Mutts - DONE
Sheets washed and on line DONE
One load of clothes washed and on line DONE
    Bank cash onto Mastercard DONE
Sort out details for budgetting class DONE
Make sure all bills are paid for end of FY
    Buy kms for work truck
    Dinner
    Puppy class
Get accounts into envelopes and ready to post
Update business bank A/C from statement
    Update business paid accounts.

Hmm - not quite so short, was it LOL

    wtg with 20 listings!!! :j

If you fancy 20mins bursts of picture taking/description writing/P&P charges tomorrow or just a whole listing done let me know  I am so slow - have to triple check everything :o a wee bit of competition might help?!

lmao I would rather do ebay than finish off the playroom it is all the daft/stupid/lost/should be somewhere else bits are left... It is the one room that you have to do everything in before it looks "mum tidy" (kid tidy is where is shoved into/squashed under/thrown over so that you can't see some of it - just the big stuff out that won't fit under/behind something else  )

    Don't ask me why I can't sleep - don't have a clue
