Pink Fairy, not a nice situation to be in the middle of, bet it's taking it's toll on you. Fingers crossed something changes for her. No definate thing but if they're planning on selling up and moving back there, house sales here are VERY slow at the minute, if it's the same where you are that might buy some time.
One of my horses won!!! £21.02 won. Waiting for my £25 free bet to be paid in still. Bet a total of £30.01 (my miss calculating to fault there) £50 tracked via Quidco. So that'll be £66.01 up when it all comes through. Not bad for someone who's never bet before.....next step is when the £25 comes through I need to figure out how to get the £21.02 and £25 transfered to my bank accountOne day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon my friends.
Lil_me well done you! DS1 picked the winner and DS2 the fourth (well I picked his for him) so they are well pleased. We only got round to it this morning so £30 quidco (hopefully as never have much luck with them) and our stakes back. Thanks so much G&B, I had seen the thread but it wasn't until you did it that it made me consider it.
Pink I'm glad that GF came to you, you are a really special kind hearted lady who undoubtedly is really making a difference to the young lady right now.
Vanilla hugs hun
Kids and OH (who is a big kid) have been paintballing and had a good time, I sadly had to wander round the shops on my own for 4 hours. I took strength from Mudbath's antics on her own so survived by buying a pair of shoes (for work) and a scarf.
Need to get tea on soon. DS3 back very soon.
Flying will resume tomorrow when I hope to get my list for this week finished! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Pink.. I am glad she came to you and that her mother is being reasonable at the moment.. sending strength to you all!!

Dusty, well done to your DS
I've just transfered the £21.02 in 2 bits one back to my paypal and one to my CC.....just waiting for my £25 free bet credit now. I'm still completely confused as to how this whole betting thing really works, I thought I'd won £8 at first :rotfl: well after eventually realising I'd backed that horse, my partner of course is as clueless as me. I come from a family of big gamblers, a comment made about my Grandad at his funeral were about his proirities with the bookies and how he apologised for being cross with one of the grandchildren when he thought they'd put a bet on wrong, they had but it mean't he'd won £1125 instead of £25 (ooops I thought I'd written what he told me to
) so it's a bit shocking that I have absolutely no clue at all
:rotfl:
Pigpen, just been doing the same thing myself with the bills, trying to work out when I can pay the rent in particular, usually I send it in the middle of the month even if it's not due until the end, pay everything asap to get it out of the way, this month I think it'll have to wait....One day I might be more organised...........

Can't remember if I posted this or not (and can't be bothered to check), but I got the grass cut back and front this afternoon, did the edges and swept up too. Doesn't sound like I'll be able to do it for a few days so I thought I'd just keep it tidy.
All the washing dried well and is all put away.
Just had poached eggs on toast for tea - yum.0 -
Hi everyone and big hugs to all, decided to disappear today and took the kids down to my mum's. Can't even be in the same room as OH at the minute, told him before i left to light the fire and bring up the bin. Came home and fire only lit and bin still at the bottom of the lane, he has locked the door and fell asleep on the sofa. He went out helped his dad for 5 minutes and is now back sleeping on the sofa.
Had a lovely time at my mum and dads talking veg patch and house DIY, it was nice to get away and have a proper conversation.
Right now to get on with this place and get the kids ready for bed.
Anyone else with hailstones at the minute??
Well done to everyone who won on the racing.
Pink fairy glad she came to you and hope things settle down for you.
Lil_me i know exactly what you mean about their side of the bed, the dog came out of our room the other day with an empty yogurt pot. OH's side is just gross and i refuse to clean it. Empty crisp bags, dirty empty glass's and spoons.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Lil_me.. post 9000!!!!!!!! shut up for 2 minutes lol
Ok so it's official I spend more time posting on MSE than I do housework. If each post takes me 1 minute, usually it takes longer, that's 9000 minutes wasted..........150 hours.....6.25 days...:eek:then there is how long it takes to read.
If only I could be ars@d to do something more constructive with my time  However I must say this website has saved me loads and you lot on the Flylady thread keep me insane
so wouldn't be without you all.
Heavy sleet/rain here mixed with hail stones, sunshine for 5 minutes etc, real mixed bag so pleased I don't need to go out again, dogs are more than happy to just go in the garden when it's like this. DP naffed off to work, thankfully, leaving of course all his mess. DSs demanding fruit salad.....suppose I'll have to make that soon. Looking forward to my 'with the door firmly closed shower' this evening, backs giving me grief so don't dare get a bath incase I get stuckered
Kitchens much better now, apart from dishes waiting to go in the DW. Slung a washer load over the airers. Meal plan, hmmm, done most of it. I've stupidly yesterday bought more for the freezer after emptying it, I swear it's psychological I just can't cope with an empty freezer, saying that the parts the engineer ordered over 2 weeks ago that should have been here last week aren't here so I may aswell use it to save having to go out as often shopping over the hols. One day I might be more organised...........
