Slimming World and OS real food dilemma

I avoid the evil fry light and use my usual variety of oils but use oils misters to greatly decrease the amount I do use. But misting a wild mushroom risotto with Truffle oil does work wonders, OK, not quite as nice as a full on drizzling but still delicious.
I had an oil mister once, it was rubbish - so I threw it out.
Can you recommend a good one?
I would rather olive oil in a good mister, than fry light:D0 -
I would certainly recommend the mister from Lakeland.0

A plant sparay is cheap and works well. Doesn't look as good as the Lakeland mister though!C'est le ton qui fait la chanson0

I stick olive oil in an empty frylight canister
Works OK for me...Tim0 -
Just thought I'd weigh in on the debate.
SW is a very healthy plan IMO, you don't have to eat the processed packets, infact in the handbook there are pages upon pages of unprocessed healthy food that you can eat freely until satisfied. The only limit as to what to cook being your imagination.
Our consultant makes it very clear that your weightloss will be slower if you use more processed stuff, but that's what some people want these days convenience. The emphasis at our group is very much on healthy eating and helping people overcome issues with food.0 -

Silly q possibly, but how do you get it in there? How does the ocntainer come apart? In work so can't look now but i can't imagine how!
Bonnie - well done on the weight loss . I k now what you mean and can relate to most of your "whys". I was telling my colleague in work about stopping eating my pasta when I was full and she said "seei would keep eating until i finished it". I couldn't believe it! I didn't realise how insane it was until I started reading his book and listening to the cds. I also have his shows and on watching them it really is insane. Like he says, we have just overwritten our natural programming!
Bitsy - Again i agreee with what you have said. The "what happens after " was directed at SW/WW - I did SW before, but didn't continue it and so here we are again. I have no doubt it works but for me personally, it is not a long term solution. I adore food, from cooking it to eating it!
Like yourself, I hate feeling deprived. Not that SW does deprive you as such, but it does restrict as mentioned here. If you tell me I can't have cornflakes, I will want cornflakes and want, until it ends up in a big binge of cornflakes (ok, more likely crisps but it was the first thing came to mind)
I was hungry at 11pm last night and made myself one thin slice of HM toast with a very thin shaving of cheese and a cup of herbal tea. Only eat half the round of toast and I couldnt believe it but my mind just said "that's enough". Before I would have made two slices and eat the lot in seconds. But by enjoying the food and savouring it more, it really is making a difference and it tastes, well, different. And honestly, I am not just saying that! Also I LOVE crisps and didn't have any yesterday , despite having them in the cupboard. In fact, i didn't have any "bads" yesterday. I just hope the scales reflect how good i feel about this and I am losing weight!
Bitsy have you watched the programmes? I am finding it really helps me - he has a family on that who have been doing it and you can see their approach - they are still having fry ups for brekkie, but much much less. I watched them a good while ago, so can't now wait to get to the end to see how the family does. If you can't find the programmes, I can always pop them on a couple of discs and post or if you have a super connection I can upload one and wee can see how long it takes .
Funny thing is i reaaaaaaly like SW as an eating plan, i loved it and thought it was great and had a lot of success. The first week I lost 6lbs and i never felt hungry. I literally stuffed my face all day . But i took really sick and stopped going to class and never got the excitement back about it.
Perhaps if some classes focus on processed food - you could speak to the instructor person and ask about doing a fresh food section each week? Each person could bring a recipe/they could have recipe competitions, i dunno! If no luck, I would escalate it above their heads. I was happier doing SW when i was happy to eat processed foods. Now it isn't so appealing for the reasons mentioned - processed free, fresh HM syns and often discouraged. It is also difficult for me to actually get to the classes.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I've seen his programmes on Sky 1 and Living (which were basically the same thing only was in UK the other US) and even though I know the book well I do find the shows inspire me to stick to it. What channel is his programme on at the mo?
Sorry got wrong end of the stick about your comment of what happens afterI am going to blame tiredness as I have been awake since 5am. Actually tiredness is one of the reasons I eat. I do it to perk me up as I feel so sluggish but I am not a fruit lover (much prefer veggies) so I'd rather reach for a biscuit than an apple. Not sure what I can do about changing that aspect (as it's kids that wake me up not insomnia or anything LOL).
Anyway felt REALLY down about my baby weight yesterday. Saw two friends and they have both lost theirs (one only gave birth 10 weeks ago  and the other 2 weeks after I did) and I am struggling. However got up this morning determined to change things and make myself feel better. Wish me luck!!!!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
I'm not sure they are "on" at the mo, I have them on disc
so can watch on demand which is good
listen, there is no need to feel down about baby weights, you have a valid reason to have some extra weight, and im sure a gorgeous little bambino who is much mroe important.
Do NOT compare yourself to other Mums, look at Posh spice - back in her size 6s in how long? I mean, come on! At the end of the day, slowly and sensibly etc and you have a very young baby to look after, so hard as it is, try not to be hard on yourself. Your body has recently been through a big trauma (birth), so give yourself a break!
Are there any pram walking groups in your area? Could you start one? Even just a couple of friends?
Regards the tiredness, I sleep very badly and suffer badly with tiredness and know how easy it is to turn to caffiene - but I have limited myself to one coffee a day. I am finding by eating more nuts and seeds, dried fruits (dates, figs and cranberries) and smoothie for brekkie with oats , it is giving me a slight kick more energy than I had before. Have you tried smoothies? Filling and a good way of getting fruit in. I only like exotic expensive fruit like pineapple and dear stuff, so finding this helps me throw fruit down my neck. Also, there are some yummy juicy pears about at the mo.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
