My daughter was prescribed Diprobase (it can be used for washing the skin as well), it was about the only thing that worked for her very dry skin.
No its double base, my son tried diprobase as its cheaper for doctors to prescribe but it was useless on him. Double base is really expensive but its fab, it also has an anti itch effect.0 -
Myself & OH sorted out our T-shirt drawers. Each year we're volunteer workers at the Great British Beer Festival and as we are off there again next week and are certain to come back with another armful of shirts each I decided enough was enough and we should make room for the new batch before they arrived! We did really well - both found a great pile of them which we either put in the bag for the charity shop (ones which haven't been worn much but we don't like) or ripper up to turn into cleaning cloths. I now have a BIG box of 100% cotton cleaning cloths!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

And WHAT pray do volunteers at the Great British Beer Festival do? Are you guides for the blind drunk? I am intrigued - do tell! And shall we join you?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

You could have turned some of them into shopping bags....here's how
Cut off the sleeves or just use the vest type T shirts
sew the front and back of t shirt together, across the bottom
Cut round the neck to make a bigger opening to put your shopping in
The shoulder seams become the handles0 -
What a brilliant idea sandy

not to be a pain in the bum or picky or anything but you shouldnt give doggies apple cores as the apple pips are poisonous to dogs if ingested. They contain a form of cyanide. The seed coating means they are difficult to crack etc but if they do you cant tell an animal to stop swallowing can you?? sorry just wanted to mention it.
LV1109 - well done you hun! bf is forever trying to get me out cycling - i havent ridden a bike since i was 16 maybe? but i live in the middle of a welsh valley so whatever way i go im inevitably going to hit a hill/mountain before long! Think i shall build myself up to a proper ride once little one is back in school - only problem is i cant take muttley with me when i do start cycling because according to bf he seems to think the front wheel is some sort of death stunt that he must dart infront of at every given opportunity so i knowing my luck id squish him a few times on a ride so think its best he has a walk then i go riding.
Moneysaving wise - on doggy theme still - our pooch tends to have the left overs of our meals (that hes allowed) like if ive made shepherds pie up and have some meaty gravy with bits of veg in - ill cook up a pan of rice etc and add that to the gravy and he gets that for his tea (mainly in the winter when he seems to have his freaky moments) but its nice and filling and he likes it slightly warm which keeps him snuggly in bed then.Making Changes To Save My LifeCurrent weightloss - 2lbs (week 1)0 -

what an intriguing idea. I can see how you could get very stylish shopping bags doing this0 -
Have a board game day/evening. We did this the last two days. Playing the likes of monopoly and trivial pursuit. We had a great time and the kids loved it. The sneaky bit? I turned off the tv and we didn't need to use a light in the dining room as there's large patio doors. If the weathers nice (and if the game you're playing doesn't have bits that could blow away) I supposed you could also play outside. The youngest said to me (she's heard on the news about the rise in electricity costs etc), "We must have saved loads over the weekend by having the tv switched off", bless I'll convert them yet to OS, lol.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Oh, bless her. My eldest daughter (39 years old) drives me potty with her non-OS ways, and I'm sure I drive her potty the other way around.
I can't BEAR waste of any kind and she lives a modern lifestyle, which I consider to be full of waste - ready meals, buying ice cubes, opening the window with the central heating on - ooh, I'm going to stop now, I'm winding myself up!!0
