What is the actual store policy ?
If policy is to bin sachets left by diners this adds to landfill -also it is wasting food and the electricity to manufacture the packaging and fill them - so while it is contravening company policy to take discarded sachets home I don't think it is as bad as stealing since nobody has been deprived of anything. It is, I think, more ethical to reduce landfill than stick to the company policy which is about health and safety liability from possibly contaminated sachets. No longer half of Optimisticpair

Just wanted to confirm that the diluted [good quality] washing up liquid goes a real l-o-n-g way when you you a hand soap dispenser.
Now to convert the masses to using them for shampoo & shower gel.....wish me Luck:pFull time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

I got a 2 litre, (about 4 pints) bottle of dishwashing liquid at beginning of the year for NZ $2.20 (so thats about 0.7 pounds?) in January and I still have a pint and a half left...I put a little bit from the big container into a regular squirty bottle (one pint size), about a finger thickness up the bottle and then top up with water and use this to wash dishes...I am challenging myself to stretch this the whole year now, think I can manage it...
Do less dishes, lol :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:"Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without!!"Nov NSD: ?/30 Nov Make 10 Day ?/300Get Rid Of Debt: ?/2000 !! :mad:0 -
Following on from the shower gel, I always use Original Source, it's quite expensive, though usually it's half price somewhere, but the smell is so strong, you only need the tiniest amount. I use Simple soap, and then a tiny squeeze of OS.
Also their Mint and Tea Tree shaving foam is quite reasonably priced, and the tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic.
And it's VeganWhen I was vegan it was the only range I could find on the high street, other than Lush which was okay to use. I still use it now and always stock up when it's on BOGOF (which seems to be a lot!)
