Also noticed they are charging £6 on all deliveries that week:(
STILL I am not worried as I booked 3 slots at Waitrose after the driver there told me they were already available over a month ago............and even better they are free delivery:):)
He did not mention my comment about the £6 delivery charge.I told him it was very unfair to loyal customers as those who only shopped at Christmas could get slots when regulars in the 3rd wave could not than said well it is Mr T's loss as i will shop at waitrose now with their free delivery!0 -
now is the time to try on clothes you like the look of in your fav shops and make a note of them for when the sales start.....many of the more expensive brands start their sales before Christmas now and if you have already made a note os sizes etc you can juts go into the shops and buy
make a pretty night light holder by using a glue gun to put squiggles on a jam jar then spray gold or silver and stick glass nuggets on(I also used some mosaic tiles)Tie some gold or silver wire around the rim and they can be hung outside as well.0 -
Last night I made mince in gravy, and made the mashed potato by baking a few potatoes in the microwave, then peeling (holding them with a tea towel!) and mashing with butter and milk. I then had the skins with my mince, since I am the only one who likes them, thus using the whole potato and feeling very virtuous! LolI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

Hello nw- really thanking you for your signature:

- as mine is just rising in hot water cupboard now. It's so easy and remember to have FREE from Mr T your YEAST, your POPPY SEED[because my nearest 5 stores no longer stock it, thus HO sanction], your SESAME PASTE[that's the gorgeous Tiger Roll topping].

Use a rolling pin to get the most out of tomato/garlic puree and toothepasteNot looked at this thread for a while but thanks for all the little tips. They really do help the pounds take care of themselves.
Northwest1965 Yes use a brush to put the lippy/gloss on it's brilliant. This was mentioned in Jackie magazine - the 'bible' of my teenage years :rotfl:0 -
I've been looking back at this thread to see if there's anything I've missed. The kiddy foam soap in the bathroom has just run out, so I tried to give a top tip a go (from about page 7), and refilled the dispenser with bubble bath and it works brilliantly! I also added a tiny drop of food colouring to make pink foam soap! My little one (age 3) is soooo impressed with her mummy now!:T

Someone needs to tell Morrison's then. I saw them selling yeast the other day with a yellow sticker - first time I've ever seen it.
But isn't some yogurt a live culture -- and that's sold?0 -

And ASDA in Hampshire, when I asked for yeast there i was told they weren´t allowed to give it away anymore as it has to have an ingredients label!!!!!!!
