has anyone ever had any ill effects from using make up long after the use by dates which seem very short as not wearing make up every day mine lasts a lot longer than recomended so I hesitate to use for even longer by mixing up etc0

I'm saving pennies or more like pounds by collecting books. I bet we have a small libary if they all got sorted out. Funny how all the books belong to the 3 girls, myself and 2 adult DD. The boys, OH and DS are not big readers. Some of the books are for gardening , some cookery but plenty of other topics too. Story books I refuse to throw out as I have not read yet from DD's. With pleanty of books I do not need to buy magazine's, but then I do not buy many anyway as I get alot given and the pass on to other people. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

I use mine unless it starts to smell 'off' then I throw it away. I've never had any ill-effects. If you use a lipstick when you have a cold sore(or mascara when you've got a stye) I'd throw it away anyway so no chance of passing on an infection.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Nope!I've never mixed it up, but I sure as heck use it until the last drop has gone and I've never had a problem. If I ever did have one, I would just throw away my offending item and carry on my own sweet way.

Instead of buying air freshener cans with all those CFCs, I buy a bottle of Zoflora, put a few drops in the bottom of a squirty bottle and top up with water. It smells lovely sprayed in and around the bin etc and it's disinfectant too so kills a lot of germs. It is under a £ a bottle and lasts for ages (I like the flowershop scent).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0

My nan always used Zoflora for spraying the air when somebody was unwell. Her favourite was the 'Carnation' fragrance
